This company should be called WORST MOVING VAN LINES! Buyer beware, they are absolutely the worst if the worst! My sister in law contracted with them to move her household belongings, including beautiful antique furniture and a very special piano, from Granite Bay CA to Bellevue WA. The estimated delivery time was around 10 days. After about 2 months and countless phone calls, some random items were finally delivered (3 piano legs but no piano, etc). Today, 3 months after the items were picked up, the remainder of the shipment arrived. Many things are broken and the special piano has a huge chip in it. The cost ended up being significantly higher than original quote. They are NOT honest or trustworthy and shouldn't be allowed to do business! Moving after the death of a loved one is stressful enough without the added aggravation of wondering if one will ever see their belongings again.

Best Moving Van Lines is a SCAM. They broke their contract as they are supposed to deliver within 21 business days or 31 calendar days (which is already INSANE) but they took longer. Our stuff was scratched and damaged and our expensive mattress, that we had covered in a plastic mattress protector had be fully torn and dirtied. They charged us a 900 ft walk-up fee as the initially parked further away, but half way through the move just drove right up to the elevator, parked in the middle of the street, and unloaded all of our boxes and furniture onto the sidewalk. This was after we had already paid them the walk-up fee, so they had already taken our money and could do whatever they wanted. They were dropping our things as they moved them into the house, further damaging out precious items in front of our eyes. My partner had to tell them to use a bigger moving dolly instead of trying to balance everything on one small one, and drop everything. After that they did get a bigger dolly, as they had one the whole time but we’re simply too lazy not to get it??Before the mover arrived I tried calling the customer service line almost everyday to get the status of my items, but there was no tracking and the same women just kept tell me that I needed to be patient and it would arrive within the window (it didn't).There were sneaky hidden charges and overall a horrible experience. Will be seeking legal action as they broke their contract.

Was subcontracted to this company by Allegiance, it's been four days since pickup and we have had zero communication from them about where are stuff is or when it will be delivered. Their voicemail box is full and they're not returning emails. The two movers who picked up our things could not communicate with us and had no answers to any of our questions. We've been sitting in an empty apartment in a new city for days. Super frustrated with this company and that Allegiance would knowingly partner with them.

What a horrible experience. They didn’t come on the day we agreed to. They didn’t bring a big enough truck. Said he’d be back the next day. No call no show but already had half my storage unit in his truck. 3 days later he came. Nothing was taped, art work was all in a huge box together not protected. Curio cabinet mirror broken, table legs missing. The office staff was threatening and rude and refused me a manager or supervisor to speak with. Basically called me a liar when the mover didn’t tell us the amount due to them and called me telling me I had to use Zelle. Zelle Zelle Zelle finally agreed to a wire transfer without a company name. My property arrived in a budget rental truck and trailer. Nothing was taped, clothes were hanging out of the boxes, books were now with cleansing products and broken drinking glasses. Clothes were now with make up. And outdoor tools with curtains. Nothing was packed the way it was stored prior to pick up. It’s like everything I own was thrown into a pile and then re-boxed. My 125 year old China broken, dinnerware broken, vases crushed and power cords taken off the tv’s!! Furniture was disassembled for no reason. This has cost me a fortune financially emotionally and mentality. I have been violated and I’m angry at the lack of care this company provided me. Please reconsider using this company. I will be putting in a claim for all this destruction!!!

Run away, as quick as you can or faster. Horrible moving company, 2 hours after they were supposed to arrive and the move has been paid for, the driver, let's hust say J. Called and wanted $700 to pick up, and I was to send it to him directly through Zelle. When I refused, he said, "You will be waiting a long time," and hung up.I have called the company every day for two weeks, I have requested to speak to a supervisor only to be told they are not available and hang up. On Monday, tomorrow, 9/14/23. I will file a lawsuit for breach of contract.

It’s been 30 days since my set delivery time. I call every single day and the customer service lady isn’t very helpful. She tells me she will contact dispatch and call me back, then she doesn’t call back. This is the same runaround I get every day. She can’t tell me where my things are located. After seeing these reviews on here, I’m very worried my valuable items will not arrive with my stuff. We will see what happens, but I’m prepared to get an attorney involved if this is the case. I found a lawyer in Florida that she’s these kind of moving scam companies.

So, this is my first time writing a review EVER. But I feel the need to since I was robbed by this company. I hired this moving company for a cross country move, from California-Philly. 99% of my belongings made it, but I had a surround sound speaker system, sound bar, subwoofer, all go missing. It was in the original packaging, so very obvious it was a sound system. I had pictures of it upon pickup, provided receipt of purchase and it was documented in my paperwork as picked up but not delivered. I spent 3 months trying to file a claim. Called the company, they told me to call a third party moving claim company, called them they said they had no record of this company ever existing…….Called the company again and they sent me to another third party moving claim company. After dealing with them for a few weeks they decided to offer me 12$ for the $800 sound system that was stolen. Insulting, disrespectful, and ridiculous. I spent thousands of dollars and when they make a mistake they can’t even justify it. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Do not use this company, they are unethical. Our estimate was almost doubled at pick up and they used our stuff to ransom to get us to pay the rest before delivering. A lot of stuff was damaged, the truck was loaded and then unloaded and our stuff stored and reloaded several times, causing the damages and loosing items. None of this was disclosed or discussed, they were supposed to just drive the cargo across the states to destination. Absolutely unprofessional and shady, beware.

Do not use this company if you can they took over a two months to deliver our items and they lost a complete couch. When I filed a claim they did not want to help me find the missing item or compensate me for the loss. Please try not to use this company.

Worst moving experience ever! Two boxes somehow lost. I notified them of the shipment issue within 24 hours. I was told to file a claim. I kept calling trying to find out the status as to whether anyone was attempting to locate my lost items. Very hard to get someone to return my calls and when they did they kept saying a claim need to be filed. Of course, when you file a claim you are only offered a fraction of the value of your items! The movers were also very unprofessional. From the minute they showed up they continually talked about how they were hoping for a big tip. No concern re missing boxes or broken items delivered. I will also be reviewing Interstate Moving & Relocation Group because they contracted with Best Moving Van Line. I received to contact from them when I notified them of this experience.

I was subcontracted to this company by a Trinity Relocation Group. Very little communication even on the day of the pick up. I also was not very well communicated with throughout the move, and there was little transparency in when my items would be delivered. When they arrived finally, most of my large furniture pieces were broken, a few of my boxes were water damaged, and the only condolences I received were to file a claim. After 40 days or so, my filed claim resulted in about 10% of the cost to replace the damaged items. I was not given the opportunity to insure my items beforehand, and so this is the amount I had to accept. I hired a moving company with the hope that I would not be held liable if I broke my items, but with the way my items were treated, I would have just done better moving it myself. Never going with this service again.

Best Moving Van Lines in a nightmare. They either lost or stole my daughter-in-law, Janiece's $2,800 Casper Wave mattress. They refuse to answer calls or take responsibility. They also overcharged by at least 25 percent on weight, and would not tell her in advance when they would deliver her furniture and boxes, which arrived 10 days later than originally promised. Avoid this company at all costs.
