Avoid this company! THEY STEAL YOUR VALUABLES! My $2000 Herman Miller chair went missing when they moved all my belongings. After 2 weeks of investigation they offered to pay me $18. What a joke.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! At least not if you value your time, energy, money, and furniture!
I hired Best Moving Van Line this last September through a moving broker. HUGE MISTAKE! They were 3 days late for pick up causing me to delay my move cross country by two weeks! When they finally arrived 2 weeks later absolutely refused payment until all my items were packed in their truck. This was to hide all the extra charges added to my bill. The mover crossed off the optional insurance on my contract! Also, upon delivery, refused to let me see or inspect anything until final payment was made. Entertainment center and Tiffany lamp ($35 for box) completely destroyed and my 50 inch is flat screen tv ($100 for box) missing/stolen.
Several erroneous charges :
- parked further away for walk charge
- I had half the boxes I was told I could have and charged for being over capacity (I had triple checked)
- I was told one flight of stairs at pickup and delivery was included. Their definition of a staircase is 6 steps. I'D LIKE TO KNOW HOW A PERSON CAN GET TO THE SECOND FLOOR IN 6 STEPS. Charged for both. I was reassured several times a staircase was included!
-estimate was for $2,000 actually charged $3,400
Upon seeing that the entertainment center was completely destroyed I was told there would be a dump fee! I now have to PAY THEM to destroy a piece of furniture and haul it?!!! The movers told me if I tipped them they would "take care of it" ! (Dump on highway?)
I called the broker who had obviously dealt with complaints regarding these movers in the past, and Best Moving Van Lines, filled out the complaint/claim form, jumped through all their hoops, waited the 4-6 weeks for a reply; I finally got one. $99 settlement! THAT DOESN'T EVEN COVER THE COST OF THE CARDBOARD BOX FOR THE TV!. Settlement never came. No surprise.
I am still upset with myself for not calling the police department upon discovering my possessions were stolen and mutilated and not filing a report.
Contacting Consumer Affairs next. . .

This company was contracted thru Brokers. The pickup of furniture was 4 hours late and now they are saying that they may not deliver on the date that was stipulated. I drove for Mayflower years ago and we always made the date and time that was stipulated by the client. This company is not professional.

Literally the worst experience! It was our first interstate move and it took about two months for our belongings to arrive AFTER we reached out destination. Each time we called about the status, there would be an excuse for the delay. The worst thing about this is that we went through a broker and they hired these guys on the day of the move so we did not find out until the actual day came. The broker's name is One Source Van Lines - another company that makes promises but does not keep them. Please do yourself a favor and avoid these two like the plague, save yourself the trouble and the stress. They even LOST our brand-new vacuum (over $200) and compensated $6.60 for the claim.

It has been the worst moving experience I have ever had. This company never told me that they would rent a third company "Best Move Van Line". They changed my pick up date from one day to the next, it arrived an hour earlier than expected. He said they would deliver to me within a period of 5 days. 2 weeks passed, every day I wrote they gave me 6 different numbers. Everyone told me that they didn't know the date. I wrote 3 emails to this company. One day they made me wait for them for 3 hours. Finally after 2 weeks they delivered me with a missing item in one of my boxes and damage to one of my furniture. Now there is no one to replace my missing one.

This is by far the worst movie experience I have ever had in my entire life. I came in contact with “Best Moving Vans Lines” through Eagle moving. Eagle moving is the broker that hires these different companies to move your household items. Eagle moving van lines moved my things from California heading to Kansas. They kept my boxes in a warehouse for over 21 days before delivering it to me. When my items arrived, two of the boxes looked tampered with. Upon inspection of the boxes, I discovered the all my item’s in the box were stolen!! On box was almost emptied out and the other was completely emptied with the exception of a few items. They stole my stuff!!! On top of that, I discovered that several other boxes never even arrived. I called and spoke to a woman named “Monica” who I later found out was the manager of the warehouse. Monica was of no held and immediately tried to direct me to go and file a claim. I told Monica I just want my missing/stolen items back, she after several back and forth conversations told me there was nothing they can do for me and I should just go and file a claim. Mind you I asked to speak to a manager several times, and Monica told me she has “left messages for the manager and he will do his research and call me back”. I received no call, because Monica herself WAS the manager. Best Moving Van Lines has stolen and lost valuable things from that I will never see again. They are a dishonest company and I strongly advise that no one uses them! As a matter of fact no one should use “Eagle Moving” either because they are the ones who hired out “Best Moving Van Lines”. I tried to contact Eagle Moving to inform them of what has happened, they did not answer the phone nor return my call. Please, please, please refrain from using either one of these companies, especially “Best Moving Van Lines”. They are a horrible, dishonest company that takes advantage of their customers. Please save yourself the heartache, and never use Best Moving Van lines in California or anywhere else!

This company is the absolute worst. They didn't pick up my items when they said they would. When they did deliver my things, they were in pieces. Every box was damaged, every piece of furniture was damaged. I am out so much money because I chose such a horrible company. I know I will never see a dime of the money they owe me. I would never never never trust anyone from this company. They lie and change stories every phone call!

I would not recommend hiring this company at all. They are over priced and unprofessional. I waited 11 days to receive my stuff. I was under the impression I would receive my stuff the next day since the driver asked what day I would like to receive my stuff. He never mentioned to me it may take longer… 3-5 business days, which I can understand. I waited 11 days… There was no communication on when I would actually be receiving my stuff. Very unorganized. (Also some things were dropped and broken durning the moving process)
When I finally received my items. My mattress and box spring was missing. The drivers had left before I realized and it was hard to contact them. No bueno :(

One star is WAY too many for this scam. This company lost my items and damaged my most valuable item. I will be filing a lawsuit. I also had to pay an extra walking fee and an extra elevator fee lol. So dumb.

This company should be called WORST MOVING VAN LINES! Buyer beware, they are absolutely the worst if the worst! My sister in law contracted with them to move her household belongings, including beautiful antique furniture and a very special piano, from Granite Bay CA to Bellevue WA. The estimated delivery time was around 10 days. After about 2 months and countless phone calls, some random items were finally delivered (3 piano legs but no piano, etc). Today, 3 months after the items were picked up, the remainder of the shipment arrived. Many things are broken and the special piano has a huge chip in it. The cost ended up being significantly higher than original quote. They are NOT honest or trustworthy and shouldn't be allowed to do business! Moving after the death of a loved one is stressful enough without the added aggravation of wondering if one will ever see their belongings again.

Best Moving Van Lines is a SCAM. They broke their contract as they are supposed to deliver within 21 business days or 31 calendar days (which is already INSANE) but they took longer. Our stuff was scratched and damaged and our expensive mattress, that we had covered in a plastic mattress protector had be fully torn and dirtied. They charged us a 900 ft walk-up fee as the initially parked further away, but half way through the move just drove right up to the elevator, parked in the middle of the street, and unloaded all of our boxes and furniture onto the sidewalk. This was after we had already paid them the walk-up fee, so they had already taken our money and could do whatever they wanted. They were dropping our things as they moved them into the house, further damaging out precious items in front of our eyes. My partner had to tell them to use a bigger moving dolly instead of trying to balance everything on one small one, and drop everything. After that they did get a bigger dolly, as they had one the whole time but we’re simply too lazy not to get it??Before the mover arrived I tried calling the customer service line almost everyday to get the status of my items, but there was no tracking and the same women just kept tell me that I needed to be patient and it would arrive within the window (it didn't).There were sneaky hidden charges and overall a horrible experience. Will be seeking legal action as they broke their contract.

Was subcontracted to this company by Allegiance, it's been four days since pickup and we have had zero communication from them about where are stuff is or when it will be delivered. Their voicemail box is full and they're not returning emails. The two movers who picked up our things could not communicate with us and had no answers to any of our questions. We've been sitting in an empty apartment in a new city for days. Super frustrated with this company and that Allegiance would knowingly partner with them.
