Wish I had the option of zero stars.
I had a disappointing shopping experience at Aldo in Valley Fair Mall on Saturday, February 1st, between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM. My friend and I entered the store, ready to purchase multiple pairs of shoes, but we were completely ignored by the two employees working at the time.
Despite the store being nearly empty—with only four customers inside—neither employee acknowledged us or offered any assistance. Instead, they stayed behind the counter, engaged in conversation and focused on their phones. We had to approach them to request shoe sizes, and even then, the help was minimal and disengaged. When we wanted to try additional pairs, we had to seek them out again because they made no effort to proactively assist us. I also noticed other customers being neglected in the same way.
Frustrated by the lack of service, we chose to leave without making a purchase in-store and instead placed our orders of 6 pairs of Aldo shoes online. This experience left us disappointed in the customer engagement at this location. Shopping in-store should be enjoyable and interactive—not an exercise in being ignored.
I remain a loyal Aldo customer because I appreciate the brand’s quality, but I hope the management addresses this issue. If service does not improve, more customers may treat this store as a fitting room before opting to buy online, which is a shame for both the store and shoppers who expect a better experience.

I had the pleasant experience of shopping at Aldo at Valley Fair on Steven’s Creek. Kristina was very kind, helpful and friendly as was the rest of the staff. Definitely coming back for my next pair of shoes! Thank you!!

Forced to give email in order to make a purchase and told there was no way to bypass. This is a horrible policy considering also has already been breached before (and shrugged it off).

The woman at the register needs a serious attitude check. You should not be in customer service if you don’t know how to work with people. Terrible service!

Horrible attitude from the woman at the register. I asked if I could buy a shoe that was on display in my size (which happened to be the display size) but if I could please have a new pair as the display shoe had black scuffs on it (they’re white shoes). Without hesitation, she said that it wasn’t available in that size and I had to buy the display. I said that these would be my wedding shoes and I would prefer they be new, so I asked if I could order them. She wouldn’t even look at me as she analyzed the scuff marks on the shoe and said no they couldn’t order it. I’m dumbfounded at the lack of courtesy, willingness to help and just plain human kindness.

I keep calling different times and nobody pick up the phone. It so sad and I am still waiting for a manager to call me since June still waiting. I so done!!!!!!

I hate to write bad reviews, me and my friend and baby came to look at purses and my daughter held one for a while but we left it before exiting the store. However, the girl I believe is manager. I'm not sure her name, (dark skin, with red hair) she accused of us stealing. As we were leaving the store she stormed towards us asking if we had the bag. Then she saw it and said nvm. Didn't even apologize. Do better. Throughout our whole trip she was just eyeing us, also didn't greet us. Hope you get a better employee

The employees there have poor customer service. They are lazy and rude. I have never come across retail store workers who are discourteous.
