“I absolutely adore this cute boutique at Sevilla Square Shopping Mall. They have the most fun and beachy items for all your California adventures. This store always makes me happy with its colorful appearance!”
“I love this boutique. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. My favorite is the jewelry, every time I come I find something unique to add to my collection. They also have fantastic t-shirts. I make sure to stop by every time I’m in the area.”

535 State St, Santa Barbara“My wife loved stumbling upon this sweet shop in the hotel where her brother is staying while here in Santa Barbara. Everything is made in Peru and is of the highest quality. The owner was so nice.”
“I have been a longtime customer of Dylan Star, and cannot say enough good things about it. Whether I am shopping for myself, or for a friend, Erica and her team always know exactly how to help. What I appreciate most is when I have come into the store and I say I’m shopping for something specific, Erica will pull a bunch of things and she knows exactly what looks good for my body type and pushes me to try things that maybe I wouldn’t have necessarily picked myself. I have so many pieces over the years that I still wear and love. Looking forward to coming in and shopping soon, as I just had my first baby, and know Erica and her team will help me feel good and like myself! Highly recommend Dylan Star!”
“I absolutely LOVE Miss Behavin’!!! It’s been my favorite store ever since I moved to Santa Barbara. The clothes are adorable and I love that they also sell brands like Motel Rocks, Rollas, Free People, and Steve Madden. They have the cutest jewelery and accessories! It’s my go-to for gifts or when I wanna treat myself, I’m obsessed!!!!<3”

637 Chapala St, Santa Barbara“This store is amazing! My wife absolutely loves all the cute clothes and the men's section has everything you need from casual to dress. The jewelry is beautiful (I've gotten my wife some incredible pieces), great hat selection,, and tons of gift options for friends. Both Erica and Oakley are super helpful and offer honest suggestions on styles and what looks good. Seriously one of my favorite stores in SB! Feels good to shop local!”
“Located in the Santa Barbara Funk Zone, SeaVees has been my "go to" shop for shoes for years. My 5 star review is long overdue! THE STORY - A loooong SoCal history which has been reawakened .... epitomizing the California beach and surf culture. SeaVees was literally in suspended animation for 40 years but is back and better than ever!THE PRODUCT - Shoes, shoes, shoes and clothes and accessories. They continue to branch out with many styles of shoes..... not just the classic slip on casuals. THE SERVICE- World class customer service. The one time I had a problem, they immediately made it right and then some. No muss, no fuss, no questions asked. That is a sign of great organization! Word on the street is that the head of SeaVees sits behind the counter anonymously now and then to keep his finger on the pulse of the business and customers. Cool! And if that isn't enough, they are socially responsible in a number of levels including donating 1% of revenues for environmental causes! Stop by to experience SeaVees in person. You won't be disappointed!”

7 E De La Guerra St, Santa Barbara“Something for everyone in most sizes ladies, refresh your wardrobe with their beautiful clothes, purses, jewelry and more.
I went in on my run and shared with Nancy and Peter (a wonderful new owners since March 2020) that I needed a piece for Christmas and they shared the most amazing choices!
And I really don’t like to shop and they picked out some perfect pieces for me in both dresses and pants, in the $120 range but looks high end!
They have great taste and you can tell they care about you - they are excellent clothing buyers. SB is blessed to have them!”

708 State St, Santa Barbara“Have known the owners for many years as a customer. Owners would go out of their way to bring back custom Porsche and Ferrari hats for me.. Have purchased many unique beautiful souvenir clothing, gifts of top qaulity and of very fair price. Nicest people to do business with.”
“One of my favorite stores... What are your perusing for inspiration or looking for a gift - you are sure to find some wonderful things for people of all ages. Pops of color, and the art and home decor. Many of their linens are organic, which is absolutely fabulous if you care about the Earth, the bees, and the working conditions of those behind the scenes Folly is one of many wonderful boutiques in the neighborhood. The owner is friendly with their neighbors and I love how they have worked so that they all have some beautiful things but that are different at each store.Easy parking. It's very sweet collection of shops, including a lovely patisserie and coffee shop called Renaulds I love the adorable little animals that they also have made by a local woman who is about 70 and utilizes up cycled fabrics that other customers bring in. I picked up a sweet little cat, talked into a little bag to give to my daughter, so she always has a cat with her even when she is far from home. Thank you Folly and team”
“favorite Johnny Was store of all we have ever visited.......Vanessa, the manager is an exceptional individual who will help and guide you to make the best choice from their amazing collectionstore is beautiful, staff are great...all round very enjoyable experience”

11 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara“Today is National Women's Day and I got a nudge. A nudge to review a local business owned by a woman who I personally admire. I immediately thought of my friend Jill and her amazing business Loveworn. In my head I thought that since I had reviewed it in the past I would update my previous review..... I looked and What??? I hadn't reviewed it before! I was dumbfounded, perplexed, puzzled and confused. How could it possibly be that I missed that!! So here goes. I have known Jill for decades, I hate saying that because she is a rare ageless woman that most people could not possibly fathom that her career success would possibly be what it is. Let me put it this way, Katie Perry, a few years ago was doing a concert in SB and reflecting on her High School years and an amazing store on State Street that when you purchased an outfit it would raise your self image to the point of life changing. Katie couldn't remember the name of the store but hundreds in the audience could. Jill's first successful Santa Barbara business! It was called True Grit .Jill has always been a fan of denim, a fan of vintage. Kind a fashion "savant". SB lost Jill for a few years but SB is somewhat magnetic and it drew her back in. Early in the days of the Funk Zone she took a risk. Opens a fashionable clothing store which was in a "funky" little location far from State Street. Her first year I had the privilege of renting the back 1/3 of the store as my tiny little motorcycle museum. Cool clothing and vintage motorcycles pair quite well. While Jill is high in fashion I am not. I honestly didn't "get it" now I do. Jill has SO much talent. She creates her own clothing, she customizes vintage clothing. From T-shirts to cashmere sweaters her custom touches take normal to an elevated level of Cool. What Katie saw in Jill's clothes rings true today but on a level ten times higher. While 3/4 of world might be happy buying whatever is fashionable from the newest store in the mall, many people want something a whole lot more special, a sweater, a jacket or a dress that matches their personality. A unique piece of clothing art that will never be seen on another person. Loveworn is very much a woman's clothing store but they do have items for men. My favorite motorcycle jacket, my favorite piece of clothing in this world is something Jill found and put in her store, like it was just for me”

740 State St, Santa Barbara“This store is excellent! This was my first time in Santa Barbara and I absolutely love lululemon so it was a pleasant shopping visit and definitely made my experience in Santa Barbara more memorable. Ernie was super helpful and very kind and professional. I will definitely come back again!”
“When you walk into this place is like you are transposing yourself into a authentic Mexican mercado. They have all kinds of authentic, high quality Mexican art. It's amazing how many items fit inside their space. They promote many local artisans and also from abroad. Their knowledge of Mexican folklore is impressive. It's like traveling to Mexico while being in SB.”
