Today I had incredibly frustrating experience with this hotel that I feel compelled to share. I called to address a mistake in my reservation, which was made by one of their employees. Instead of receiving an apology and assistance, I was met with hostility and disrespect from the manager on the phone.
From the start, she was rude and her tone was completely unprofessional. When I tried to explain the issue, she interrupted and spoke over me. I had to remind her twice to calm down and lower her voice, but she continued to be dismissive and unhelpful.
When I mentioned that I would leave a bad review due to her lack of customer service, her response was shockingly sarcastic. She said she would "wait on it" and implied that the mistake was my fault for not double-checking the reservation, even though it was clearly an error made by the hotel.
This is completely unacceptable. The way I was treated was uncalled for, and no customer should ever have to endure such behavior. If you value respectful and professional service, avoid this hotel at all costs.
completely ruined our next long weekend and first experience in Santa Barbara

A cute very-Santa-Barbara hotel, right next to the marina, across the street from the beach. One block away from State street, a long walk to the theaters and shopping (1.5 miles) Rooms are clean and modernized, but small, with that beachy kinda smell. Staff is pleasant and helpful. The highlight was the pool and hottub; never have I seen such clean, clear water and the temperature perfect for a hot soak and a cool plunge. Easily would stay here again.

Excellent hotel, with my only comment being that the bathroom is tiny, relative to the nice size of the room. Other than that, the staff is super friendly and professional, the place has been wonderfully renovated, and the location is great.

Stayed here 1 night & really enjoyed it.
Parking is available on site.
It's a ten min (max) walk into town.
They offer 2 hour bike hire for free from about 10 mins away.
Breakfast was nothing special
Staff was friendly.
They have a pool & jacuzzi will 11pm, I think.
Had dinner at a place called Zaytoon (20 min walk) which was amazing!!
Next time I'm staying longer!

The rooms and location was superb. We booked the sea facing room.
The only thing we felt was missing is a microwave. When we pay 350 per night, the least we expect is a microwave
Rooms: Rooms were amazing.
They do not have microwave in rooms
Walkability: It’s right in the Center. All the locations are within 3-5 miles.

Found it through a random search and don’t regret one bit of it. Amazing room which looks newly renovated and great hospitality and service with the young man up on the front desk. Highly recommended and will come again in the future.

Everything was wonderful, except, we found that 2 windows were left open. Other than that, it was a nice place.

Fantastic views of the harbor and pier! I sat there for 4 hours on the balcony, just watching all the boats and people.

Sweet, family feel to this waterfront inn in the heart of Santa Barbara. Walking distance to pier, waterfront, shops and good. We spent three nights here and enjoyed a lively continental breakfast every morning, wine, cheese, crackers and grapes for an evening happy hour. We also got bike rentals with our stay and had a great time exploring the waterfront on bikes. The property was gorgeous, facilities clean and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Five stars for Melissa and Teresa for their special hospitality!

After lots of searching I found this hidden gem in Santa Barbara. This place is the best bang for your buck. The staff has been very nice, helpful and accommodating. The wine and cheese hour is a great perk, and the breakfast was plentiful. We were very pleased when we booked a garden view room and ended up with an ocean view as well. One thing that was unique to any place we have stayed was a live plant inside the room, I thought this was a great touch! Overall, we would definitely stay here again when visiting Santa Barbara.

Great value considering the location is right on the waterfront. The staff are very nice and the breakfast is adequate if you just want something basic such as bananas, toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, muffins, blueberries, yogurt and coffee or tea and juice. The hot tub was awesome after a long day of walking around sightseeing. The pool was unfortunately closed due to recent flooding in the area but that's no fault of theirs. Rooms are clean and equipped with cable TV.Walkability: You can walk on the beach itself or on the sidewalk that goes along the beach. Plenty of walking areas and you can also take any of the side streets down to State Street where all the restaurants are located. Incredibly walkable area!
