I bought a new Sharp refrigerator a couple of weeks ago. I was told that the icemaker wouldn’t really work for about 24 hours. After approximately 30 hours, it produced maybe six teeny ice cubes. It has never produced another one. The salesman Johnny was extremely helpful when I purchased the machine and can only say good things about him. However, for over a week, I have been trying to contact the company and I’m told over and over again no one can take your call now, “Please call back.” I did reach a human yesterday who took my information and promised that I would be called back yesterday and someone from Sharp would contact me about repairs. I have received no calls. Today I was again told that I couldn’t leave a message for Johnny, that I would simply have to keep calling back. What an annoying system. what dreadful customer service. I have a property management company and probably buy one to two appliances a week for the different properties. I manage. Guess who won’t ever be getting an order from me.

We had a wonderful experience at the store while being sold our appliances but delays in delivery and lack of communication and mistake in the orders made it a very poor experience. I would buy anywhere else like Home Depot which in town has delivered appliances to us without any issues. Installers are lovely, just the experience with the store is disorganized and frustrating.

This place is seriously insane…criminals. I took my dog as a new patient since moving back to SB for an ear check and nail trim they charged me 283.00. I took her again just for a nail trim which took 3 minutes and they charged me 50.00. The staff is so rude and unfriendly. It’s so sad to know this company can rip people off and get away with it. Don’t bother going there. They do not deserve 5 stars. I miss Buena Vet in Ventura.

Called to get info on how to open my cooktop as they are an appliance store...I was told by the very rude person on the phone that they don't do that and I should call my manufacturer...so beware, they will not service the thing you buy, they will stick you with the manufacturer who will never actually help you. Go to Best Buy where they will come and fix the machine for you if it breaks.Hi WDC, thanks for your response, however, I appreciate that you could refer me to a service person, but so then why didn't the guy on the phone do that? I asked if I could contact the service people and he said, No we don't do that...he didn't offer an email or say that they could give me the name of a service person...just "you should contact the manufacturer", and we all know that never does anything...

We had to return an appliance because it was unusable in our apartment. Obviously our error. The device was still in its original packaging. They charged us a restocking fee of $1200, one third of the initial price.

arrogant ass holes!!! do not waste your time. looking for kitchen dish washer, couldn't help i didn't have the dimensions. kitchens use a common dish washer!!!!

We discovered our refrigerator wasn't working 4:30pm Tuesday before Christmas. We measured the width of our Bosch at 36" but in our rush didn't measure height. Some of the refrigerators we liked were 72" and we were concerned they wouldn't fit. I was lucky to have a picture of my kitchen on my phone and the manager there was able to identify our model as being 70". Last thing we wanted was having a replacement that wouldn't fit into our kitchen. Being so close to Christmas we wanted to get our refrigerator replaced as soon as possible. Johnathan was great. He was very careful and rechecked the picture of ours several times and pointed out since it was right next to a wall some of the refrigerators that were right height had deeper doors that would hit the wall when it was opened. We really appreciate all his help to make we got the a refrigerator that would fit. We've bought other appliances from WDC but really especially grateful to the attentive service we received from Jonathan. Making a stressful evening go smoothly.

Don't buy a Miele product. WDC are 5 stars for selling you an appliance, but a 1 star if anything goes wrong. Went into their showroom to buy a Bosch dishwasher and was up-sold onto a Miele Dishwasher as it offers "higher quality, excellent performance" apparently. So after some deliberation I took their advice and spent the $2,300 and bought the aforementioned Miele Dishwasher. Unfortunately, after only 12 weeks of light use, there are only 2 of us the the house, the Miele dishwasher broke down. I called WDC and they passed my details on to their service company. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment for someone to come out and when they did, they told me it needs a new inlet valve sensor unit. It's has now been 6 weeks since the machine broke down! The part has still not arrived after being ordered a month ago from Miele US in New York. I get texts saying the part will be here tomorrow, but I have had a number of these over the past month. WDC customer service has been VERY poor in responding, apparently, they are busy! Finally, after chasing, I was advised by the WDC customer service lady that she would escalate this to her manager and also contact the Miele area representative and come straight back to me. Well that was nearly 10 days ago and I have heard nothing since. Will keep updating this review as things progress or not, but as it is, I really cannot recommend buying an appliance from WDC, they'll sell you one, no problem, even a more expensive one than the one you wanted, but good luck if it breaks down, you will have to constantly chase, all the while not being able to use the machine you paid good money for. Also, for what it's worth, do yourselves a favor and DO NOT touch anything Miele! Even tried to call Miele customer services directly, they were not interested one bit and borderline rude, we don't care attitude, they just said it's nothing to do with them and I need to speak with WDC customer services!

I needed a new washer & dryer. Wow! There are a lot of choices and options now. The team at WDC were patient and helpful. They helped guide me to make my best decision. I definitely recommend them!!

This business is trying to take advantage of elders. My mother in law is trying to return an item and they want to charge 50% restock fee which she never picked up. This is ridiculous. Shame on you!! They will be reported and dealt with by the BBB!!

So many negative reviews here, and that means something. They are super accommodating up to the time you pay and order is complete. Then, it's pretty much ignore calls & emails regarding the order. I even tried to get another appliance via email, but the email was ignored as well. I am not even sure that I got the appliance I paid for. Something is just off here. I would drive 50 miles to prevent having to use them again. Such a bummer.

I have shopped in this store over the years & have gotten great service. The new Store Manager is so nice & I think the service is even better than before! The newly renovated kitchen & bath fixtures department is so beautiful & they carry some really cool brands that are not sold everywhere. The assortment is incredible - everything from quartz counters, sink, knobs, water filtration systems, vanities & amazing soaking bath tubs. So happy to have a great place to shop in Santa Barbara.
