Clean with all the little things you want or need coffee and frig blow dryer iron and board. Beds were comfortable but do move very easily, so watch out for that. Bathrooms are very clean and nice and bright. Showers only but big. The office manager has a coffee machine in the office if you want good coffee free.
Rooms: Good size, clean ac works well free Wi-Fi
Safety: There were lots of cameras outside and staff walking around. Small parking lot cars are right by your room.
Food & drinks: Close to downtown SB 8min drive close to CVS and other shopping if needed 3 min drive. Close to the mission church and park.

Not going to lie, the reviews had me spooked. But this place was the only hotel that had an affordable rate for my trip. We got the deluxe king room and it was great! The room was simple but it was clean. No stains like the pictures showed in the reviews. The bed was comfortable and the TV was nice. They have free wifi so we had everything we needed.
As a note I noticed a lot of the horrible reviews were from a year or two ago so I feel they have made some good changes since then. I have no complaints!
The location was convenient and though the room was simple, and it lacked any artwork or anything, I am here for vacation and not for the hotel room. Unless you have any special needs I would say that this hotel is pretty suitable for anybody. I would definitely return again, thank you!

Amazing inn! Bathrooms look renovated and clean. The shower pressure is strong and hot. That is a 5++ star for me because i stayed at many places where the shower pressure was weak and cold. Another plus is that the room includes a coffee machine, microwave, and mini fridge which other other places in SB that we stayed at didn't offer. For the price and location, this place is a hidden gem. 10/10 would recommend

My experience staying here was not bad at all. The person at the front desk who helped us check in was very helpful and friendly. The room looked like it had been remodeled and was pretty clean. Overall, our stay here was great.

Some of you will not believe our very positive review of this place, but we had nothing bad to say, although I see the low reviews.We were really happy with the revamped bathroom, it was literally perfect for the 3 of us... Beautiful, and maybe we were lucky to get that room.

Absolutely the worst customer service. No manners whatsoever. There was a problem of not signing out of our Netflix account. The next day they were called and they said no problem they would reset the TV. Realized today that someone was using my account, they never did reset the tv. When I called asking them to reset they said they couldn't and hung up on me.

It start with the awful check-in. Th eguy at the front desk with the "Essentials" sweater is completely lacking of basic and essential way to welcome guest. He is completely oblivious, unprofessional, disgraceful and rude ! That was the first big TURN OFF. I was already about to leave. Then the entire property looked like mismanaged - Trash outside, old mattress, construction materials, ... That was the second Turn off. The third came right away when you enter the room and seat on the bed or the chair. N E V E R A G A I N !!

Repulsive. Urgent medical needs in SB made us have to reserve a hotel in short notice. All mid price ranges were full already. So it was either this or 4-5 hundred bucks a night. So... this was close. I didn't check yelp reviews and it wasn't cheap either. They said we wouldn't be charged right away but that was a lie and we we charged the min we reserved it. With no refunds as an option. So they apparently don't want to show it before you pay. Smelled like bug repellent first whiff. Ugh. I wanted to leave it early surgery made that impossible. Dingy. Stained chairs and bedding. Who owns this dump anyway???? Have some pride. Ice machine broke. Won't open to let spouse use coffee machine. Cringeworthy. A dead bug inside sheets. A live spider. Ewww.
