A lot, lot, lot of beautiful decorative items for the home. Rustic. The entire store has a nice, clean vibe. Same with the store manager. So the next time you're looking for home decor, I recommend stopping by, even if it's just window shopping.

This is a great new shop added to the State Street shopping district. What they offer is a plethora of all kinds of home decorative items, and/or a bunch of other stuff, all designed to provide you with a unique living experience. This store is literally packed full of all kinds of items that you probably would not be able to find in any other one location. If you're looking for that unique item to give your home a new flavor and/or you're looking for a great place to get a gift for someone you know, this is the store to shop at as you never know what you'll find. The staff here is very nice and they don't bother you while you're shopping. Of course, if you need any help, they are happy to provide it. Overall, even if you were just window shopping, this is a great store to check out.

Lots of trinkets, charming cards, lovely scented candles that burn fresh (rather than too perfume-y),good quality cloth napkins & towels that are perfect for dining and kitchen use that although are good quality are affordable and launder well. Home decor (ie knobs, hooks, wall hanging, rugs etc) that are unique but not too “out there.” The items have that euro old world charm and still easily works into modern current decor. Saved the best for last: Jill, the young woman that has helped me in the past year has been so helpful but never pushy. She’s one of a kind when it comes to sales.she’s down to earth and helpful while never making me feel overwhelmed. Adore her! She’s just a solid person with a great eye for detail whom has helped me figure out what to get and how to use the things I’ve purchased fro The Tent Merchant Prop & Decor. Thx Jill!

We popped in last weekend as their window displays caught my eye. Lots of charming items awaited inside, along with a gracious employee who immediately greeted us. Their various vignettes showcased a wide variety of gift items, plus decor options. It was getting close to closing, so we didn't linger, but this is the kind of curated collection of beautiful goods where more time is needed! The tent theme carried throughout, suggesting a magical framing for shopping adventure. Will definitely plan another visit when next in Santa Barbara.

The new The Tent Merchant Prop & Decor Outlet Retail Store is soooo much bigger. Have your walking shoes ready because you will possibly get tired. Great service and chances are you will always find what you are looking for and if not, you'll still walk out with something.

I've stopped in several times now and it's always a nice experience. They have a ton of items here from various furniture, home décor, dining and kitchen items, bed and bath items, garden and patio items, and much more. It's all of nice quality, nicely organized, and there's plenty to browse upon. Mind you, I'm not buying big huge items when I've come by with friends, and even when we're buying small items we get treated nicely, helped, and have a nice time browsing.

Absolutely enjoyed this store on our visit to SB. Called in to see if we could get some Christmas items post Christmas and we did. We got a delightful snow globe, a marble frame, a couple of candle holders, a paper weight and a handwritten piece for the wall. I felt personally that the items were curated well and that it made it easy for us to get a unique selection of items without having to go to several different stores. The lady who helped us was super friendly, helpful and kind to us and our fur baby.

I was looking for gifts and decided to enter this store. Everything looked nice but quite overpriced, nonetheless I was checking to see what was available while I decided if I wanted to bite the bullet and buy something. After a few minutes, the person at the store (not sure if she's the owner or an employee) approached me and told me "I was too quiet" (I was a person shopping by myself. Who I would be talking to?) and asked what I was doing and looking for. I guess she was assuming that a person browsing a store means something fishy is going on, which I find amusing since this is exactly what a store is for. I don't know what this person's deal was, but the fact she approached me (the only young, brown, person in the store) felt incredibly rude and quite unnecessary. People check items in stores and decide what they want, at least that's my understanding of shopping. You might wanna remember that before asking weird questions to potential customers that make them uncomfortable. I'm never entering this establishment again and I don't recommend anybody else to buy anything here.

Update: I found this exactly candle set at home goods with only 5 candle votives and the tray for only $7... obviously this is overpriced and not so unique. Bummer!
