Great place to buy Santa Barbara Beach wear. A huge selection of clothing including shirts, shorts, sweatshirt shirts, sandals, hats and more. Parking is available but limited. Most places in this area have no parking.
Helpful staff and very attractive store. If you're looking for SB name clothing this is the place to get it.

Great shop, great service ! My son and I had previously purchased 2 boards from another vendor. We came to the Beach House to upgrade our fins, install pads and get leashes. Noah was super helpful and even though we have been surfing for a long time, he took his time and explained all the different options for al the appropreate fins. He also helped my son pick the best pad for his board and installed it in the shop for him. Surf shop service as it should be. Excellent shop !

Impressive service. I ordered a single t-shirt and it arrived, cross country, in less than a week. The packaging was remarkably thoughtful, with tissue wrapping and string bowtie. They even threw in a couple of pieces of candy! Well done, Santa Barbara Surf Shop. I'm now a fan and will definitely be back soon. Thank you again.

Big surf shop with mostly apparel and a decent selection of surf boards. As a tourist in town there was plenty of t-shirt and sticker options for me to grab some things to commemorate my visit.

Went in to shop with some family from out of town. They wanted us to take them to this particular place. Just before that, my youngest daughter had gotten hit by one of those multi-person bikes. They were SO HELPFUL. They were concerned and did everything they could to find antibacterial wipes for her leg. They went above and beyond in their customer service.

The really friendly check-out young uns made up for the really unfriendly vibe of the chatting brood of older male sales individuals in the back. I was there to get a pair of fins and was wandering around trying to figure out where they were. I could have asked, but usually, when shopping, it is nice to be met with a smile, and asked if one needs help locating something. I had tried to order fins online, and trying two different sizes, I thought it better to go in in person, and give the business somewhere local. It took awhile to register that the men were sales clerks. I would drive to Ventura, or just be patient with ordering online, rather than go through that experience again. The older I get, the less tolerance I have for crappy service. Super unwelcoming vibe in the back space. Snooty even. Maybe my skin was too brown, or my age too old, my attire too worn out, maybe I didnʻt smell of money. I tried to offset the elitism sort of attitude by being friendly with the checkout kids. With that said, I am happy with the fins. Will give the churn of Pele in my belly to the sea next time I use them and dig deeper with regard to what it is about this business that no longer resonates as a space I wanna support with my dollars.

To the man working with curly hair: Idk what you got going on in your life.... But you were so damn rude to my friend and I this afternoon about a little sand on our feet! I understand you want to keep your establishment clean and prevent items being damaged. I get it..... but out of all the ways you could have handled it, you chose being passive aggressive about it and blurting out a comment in the middle of my friend and I talking while you're off restocking things... come on dude. We were just two girls coming from the beach... to the BEACH house to pick up some rainbows. So thanks for that awful experience. I've been going since I was a kid and you made that experience just suck. Also.... I would have had no problem going outside and dusting my feet off but you treated my friend and I like we were rebels coming in carelessly. So yeah we left... also......... You're literally by the beach ? * this review has nothing to do with the quality of the store... it has everything to do with just the bad attitude and poor customer service!

I came in needing a wetsuit and got absolutely no help - 4 or 5 kids working and no one could be bothered to get off a couch to advise me about sizing or answer any questions. I was trying things on for 20 minutes and no one came to check on me. When I came out of the dressing room, the kids were hanging out on the couch. I left and went to Channel Islands.

Felt I was inconveniencing everyone working there. They still have so many good merchandise, so I bought more than planned.Well before closing, arrived before 6pm. It seemed they just wanted to not work the last couple hours. Which I get. I’ve worked jobs that are hard and wanting to leave in understandable.I just wasn’t that demanding. I actually needed 15 min w/o this guy telling me he didn’t appreciate how much I was trying on.I easily spent over 1000. It was going to be my go to. I’ll sacrifice the semi terrible treatment and order direct from these companies online. Makes me sad though.
