I use Sonos on my MacBook Pro, which is 2 years old and on my prior Pro I had the same issues. For a company like Sonos not to be completely compatible with Apple is mind boggling. Every time an update comes out I have to delete the App and then re-install. Historically I had to save my music. This apparently has been improved upon. So a 25 minute support call becomes a 10 minute call. This has been going on for years. Why has it not been fixed. Caveat Emptor

I purchased 6 Sonos speakers from Sam's and all 6 STOPPED WORKING on the same day. I have not made any changes from my end. Support was unable to help. I will contact Sam's Corporate next to ask for a full refund.

It looks like Sonos doesn’t allow for DPN or VPN connection which is ridiculous I should be able to connect it any way I see fit, it is my device! Buy something that connects via Bluetooth I will sell mine!

When Sonos works, it's on point. However their software is HORRIFIC. I have spent over 3 hours in the last 3 days trying to reconnect speakers to my system. We are talking about over 12 speakers here. $10,000+. You would expect that when you spend that kind of money for the company to be responsive. NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE. Sonos apparently thinks that because their stock is currently doing well they can say screw off to their customers. Here's my suggestions after spending over 6 figures on Sonos products for houses and other uses in the last 5 years. Go with B&O or another premium brand who respects their customers. Don't go with what has become the Ford of speakers.

Sonos where do I begin. What a joke you are. I bet you woke up one day and your mother looked at you and said I don’t even like you. I bet you put on your leggings in your morning and they even think you’re fat and stupid. I wish you would call me back so I could put you on hold for over an hour and then ask you what your Xfinity router name is multiple times with the same information. Do me a favor and step in the road and let a car run over you….. at least that’s what I think I should do with your device if only I had a sledgehammer. If the music worked in your headquarters, I wish I could be like the principal in a school and make an official announcement that you’re awful. If I worked in your IT department, I’d send out a mass email that says how horrible you are.

Absolutely useless for playing your own music. Constantly drops out, refuses to recongise the PC it's running on. A complete nightmare if you want to do anything other than use a streaming service.Customer support is woeful.

Sonos offers fantastic hardware but it's software and support are horrible. The software has bugs and often just does not work; documentation is scant and often misleading, and support is, well, virtually non-existent.

Sonos Roam’s seem to be bricking. Mine has. Appears their first production run contained defects. Disappointing. No replacement provided by customer service. Being a sustainable company is more than just avoiding plastic in packaging. It’s also creating products that last.

We have a system from them since a couple of years. Weird connection problems and speaker suddenly "not available" in the app. Since three years support is not helping and just diagnosing back and fourth and wasting our time through unnecessary reconfigurations and "tests". They are not willing to exchange any of the speakers or do anything graspable to fix the problem. In the end they recommend to use their Wifi speakers by connecting them with a LAN cable to the router :D Technology seems to be a joke and overall a horrible experience

Awesome when it works. App and speaker lose connection. Takes multiple attempts to get back online. Very inconvenient and inconsistent. Stick with Bose.

I ordered a speaker as a Christmas present on 12/10. I received notification it shipped on 12/12. So far, so good. My credit card was charged $171.32 on 12/13. FedEx tracking showed estimated delivery of 12/17. Checked tracking on 12/16 and it was at facility about 15 miles from home but on 12/17 was at another one about 50 miles away with no delivery date. Knew at that point it was lost by FedEx. It’s now 1/2, and still no speaker, no refund, FedEx still shows “delivery exception” and no response from Sonos other than emails saying “I understand how you feel” at least 3 times. I’ve received no communication other than this. I’ve tried calling but cannot get thru. Customers do not come first nor does customer service. You may get what you ordered. Can’t speak to if it’s any good or not since 17 days after expected delivery still nothing. But if there are any complications, forget it.

Is it true that Sonos is coming out with a new S3 app in a few months ??? and they are going to BRICK all of their S2 equipment. Just like they did the S1 equipment??

Have used Sonos products for many years and have always been pleased with the quality of the speakers and their service (although in the past the wait time was interminable currently it has much improved). I have been disappointed with some of the accessories, however.

Their speakers become unreliable after the returns period ends, then you are given corporate speak for tough luck in support requests.

Recently purchased a Sonos Arc. Sounds great when it works. No matter what I do, it will not stay connected to any HDMI cable that I attached to it, causing it to disconnect. It also powers down randomly and needs to be reset often. I end up having to take it off of the wall and reset it and then put it back up.Sonos customer service is the absolute worst. You can never actually get any real help. I'm completely disatisfied with this product and the company at this time. It shouldn't be hard to make a product that can hold onto an HDMI cord.
