Very poor patient care, I was very low due to a platelet problem, they ordered me to do countless blood tests so that in the end they told me that everything is fine. Yes, it bothered me a little with the doctor, but I think the problem is in the laboratory or laboratorian's lack of professional ethics.!

Dr. Baldwin is the worst. Dismissed and rejected my concerns and I asked to be sent somewhere where I can get an ultra sound of my ribs, but she says everything looks good on image; yet, im in so much pain and can't sleep or lay on my sides and it hurts to sneeze and cough. I then tried to show her some images I had from the last dr. And she got upset that I didn't have any recent x-rays. I asked her to look at my x-rays that I had and she refused and acted like nothing was wrong with me, even though I'm in a lot of pain.

I understand with COVID-19 things are taking longer but the lab for blood test here in Santa Maria are the slowest there is 2 people always when I go they aren't the friendliest and everything they do is so slow you watch them and one does nothing well the other takes your blood sample I understand that they work all day but I do have other things to do spending almost 2 hours to have my blood taken is ridiculous and this has always has been like this before the virus and now it's worse maybe they need coffee to give them a pick me up I'm going to ask my doctor to give me my order for blood work so I can go somewhere else I've been to other places and most of the time I'm in and out in about 30 minutes to and hour with one to two people why can't they both be taking samples they have enough chairs and if the chairs are to close they could at least pick up the pace I've been coming here for years like 15 or more years in the past year or two they have gotten worse don't get me wrong I understand that COVID-19 has slowed everything down but this is not right I have medical problems like other's and just want things done in a timely manner were I can get home and be safe but I do want to say everything else at the clinic seems to be going smoothly they are nice at the front when you get there anyway enough bitching stay safe

The were very rude to my wife and said she was an unfit mother. Wouldn’t work with my schedule or my wife who is a homemaker. Then made mandatory appointments which I will lose work trying to keep. My wife also felt they were trying shame her for having multiple children and not working with their schedule. This is the first and last time will ever use anything from the county.

I called over a week in advance for an appointment, I got two calls a day before my appointment, one with a live person and one automated. I showed up at the time I was given, when I arrived I was told my appointment was with the specific doctor I requested when I set this up. I was given some paperwork to fill out. When I got called into the back the nurse told me I was going to see another doctor because the doctor I had set up the appointment with was "booked"??? After questioning why and refusing to see another doctor as I was a new patient and wanted to meet with my new primary physician. Well evidently that wasn't going to happen so I was then shuffled into two different rooms to speak to two different managers both telling me the doctor I was there to see was booked up, then all of a sudden it was their decision that it was my fault for being late so at this point I was so fatigued I gave in realizing I was getting nowhere, so back to the front desk where I was given an appointment for 12 days later. I am recovering from a major surgery and it took a lot of energy for me to get ready and drive myself to this appointment. This was rude and a horrible first impression. I hope that my next visit doesn't leave me so frustrated that I'm compelled to write another bad review.

Good health care. Friendly people.

Absolutely worthless health care. I suppose it's one step up from not having any at all, but I needed specialist care, and had to wait far beyond the 15-day period CenCal is contractually obligated to provide (another issue). The specialist dermatologist was only available one day per week, for TWO HOURS a week. When I finally got there, this clinic was so underequipped that she did not even have a magnifying glass or a penlight to examine a dermatology patient. Very nice physician who tried her best, but they are so underfunded and underequipped it's a complete waste of time. Like Kaela, another one-star reviewer, I too found that getting a female provider from CenCal due to the nature of a particular medical condition is a nightmare. I plan on filing a lawsuit against them, so ridiculous has been their service, and a referral to this clinic, which had equipment stacked up in plastic tackle boxes (unorganized, much?) is par for the course.

I read all these negative comments but all I want to say is that my dr here has been very nice to me, she's always answering my questions and available for anything I need to know. Nurses are very kind and gentle, they actually smile. I got referred here by CenCal and later on had surgery, it took a few weeks to schedule but they are all professional.

Wow. Just, wow. Got assigned here by CenCal Health on March 1 but have yet to have my new patient intake to establish care 2 months later, during which time I've had to go to urgent care 4 times because I don't have a doctor. They originally scheduled my intake for the end of March but did not give me a female doctor as I had specifically requested and then followed up about explaining that I have PTSD and need to have a female. When I got to the first appointment I found out I had a male, and asked to be switched but the woman said I would have to make an entirely new appointment and that if I saw him today I wouldn't be able to switch later. So I made a new appointment. Days later I got a letter in the mail saying they had moved my appointment all the at back to May 11th, more than a month after my first scheduled appointment and 2 months after I initially called to establish care. Finally was able to make an appointment to get my stitches removed (that I got at urgent care) after going back and forth with the woman on the phone for quite some time, as CenCal requires you do any follow up with your PCP. Got here at 7:30 right when they open for an 8am appointment to make sure I had time to fill out all paperwork beforehand. I've now been waiting in the exam room for 45 minutes and no one has come to check on me or anything. Calling now to get my PCP transferred somewhere else. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place.

Hands down the worst doctors office. They have very little organization skills and offer very little information for their patients to contact their doctors. Calling the front desk will always be a 10-30 minute hold and if you need to contact your doctors for refills ect. the ladies at the front desk don't have any of the doctors information making it almost impossible to get ahold of our primary care doctor, something that should be an easy contact. No emails or direct numbers and its comes off very unprofessional, making you wonder how skilled the health care providers there are.

Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to get healthcare. If Cencal assigns you to this clinic, immediately change your PCP to literally anywhere else. I would feel more comfortable driving to Mexico for some sketchy back-alley plastic surgery than deal with this clinic. The front office staff was deliberately unhelpful and actively unpleasant to deal with. I wish there was a 0 star option. I asked to schedule a new patient appointment, but was told I couldn't be helped unless I told her who my doctor was. Again, I stated I was a new patient who had not been to the clinic before, so did not have a doctor, but Becky could not shut her trap long enough to listen to me. She started loudly lecturing and speaking to me with ghetto slang as if I was some person off the street who stole her boyfriend. Any sentence that starts with "First of all," Jerry Springer style is not appropriate in a business setting. I could honestly feel her head and finger wagging at me through the phone. Yikes, dude. Becky transferred me to her supervisor so I could explain what type of appointment I needed, and when I once again tried to explain I simply need a new patient physical, she told me I would not be covered for this and was "uneducated," so she'd make sure to make notes that I would have to prepay for everything (not their normal practice) apparently as punishment for questioning her ridiculous stubbornness and asking to be allowed to speak. What wonderful service! Obviously as a county health clinic, the employees don't feel the need to even speak politely to their patients because many of their patients don't have anywhere else to go. It is the DMV of clinics: service will be slow, rude, ignorant and you will leave feeling like nothing was accomplished. I was set up for a tuberculosis test on a Thursday. The test must be checked by an RN within 48-72 hours, thus unless the clinic is open weekends (which they are not), the test is invalid. I know this because I have administered hundreds upon hundreds of TB tests myself. When I noted this fact to the supervisor, she then rescheduled me for the following Thursday. Thursday!? Derp... But didn't I just tell you...Never mind. I felt like I was taking crazy pills. If I have to explain to you how to schedule a TB test, (an insanely common test), you do not know what you are doing. If you are looking for mind-boggling incompetence mixed with nasty condescending attitudes and general contempt for patients, this is the clinic for you. My insurance carrier (who strangely listened to me) reconfirmed that all of the services I requested are standard, covered and that I do not need to prepay for anything. I immediately canceled my appointment at this clinic. I'd heard some negative reviews of the docs here, but I never actually met them, so I can't comment on that. The front desk is so despicable, I refuse to deal with them again.
