If I could give zero stars I would. From start to finish this was the most unpleasant, and dysfunctional visit to a doctor's office I have ever had.I felt like my sick son was nothing more than "the next kid in line" after the doctor, who we have never met, started the video chat with "What is wrong", not an introduction, not even a hello.I'll spare the rest of the disappointing details, and will never use this group again for my child's needs. We are people not widgets, and this uber-corporate approach to medicine is one that I will choose to support.

Doctors have been great since day 1, for the most part front staff is great it has been on few occasions that we receive substandard quality service. With that said keep in mind that the front staff is not representative of the doctors here.

My son wasn’t feeling good. I was very worried he is 2. I went to the ER the night before I didn’t feel heard. I called them to check in with his primary dr. The women who answered phone was exactly what I needed. I felt heard and like my concerns were taken seriously. They fit me in that day even though my regular dr who we love, Dr Nimmons wasn’t in. We saw, Dr. Mendoza. I was worried. She also has we very helpful. And I felt heard. So I had a very good experience. I usually don’t write reviews. I really appreciated the care my son received.

Infant took COVID test on Monday, rapid test. It’s Wednesday and they still don’t have Dr note. They know we need note to get back into daycare. Urgent care took 20 mins in and out the door with other kid last week. Frustrating. Changing doctors and clinic.

This review is for the billing department and I would give zero star if there is. My daughter was delivered oct last year and I took her to Dr. Gaitian several times after she was born. As my insurance is with another group and sansum asked me to pay for a deposit of 160 each time for four times. And say once they got paid by insurance and they will refund me. My insurance paid them in January 2020, rough year...and since then, I have been calling them and they keep saying they haven't received any yet. Not from my medical group. Asked me to follow up in a month...and month by month, each time, not received any, update system. So I got my insurance contact them directly with the payment info. And they still ask to check back in a month. And my insurance did...now still, updating the system...I spent so much time to try to reach them to get the refund....and it has almost been a year, even during the covid, this is really rediculas. Also, they keep sending me a bill for copay which I had already paid for though they actually own me money. I would definitely suggest stay away from the business...

Was planning on switching from Kaiser to Sansum Clinic. Made a new patient appointment with Dr Engrstrom. They gave me a phone number to call to have my records transferred. After more than 3 weeks and a half of dozen calls and messages nobody has called me back. Left another 2 messages for the supervisor in charge of records Laurie Gutierrez. Still no response. If this is how they treat you from the beginning i'll take it as a signa nmd find another doctor/clinic. I have had better service at the DMV.

Several moms I knew in town recommended him and said he's the best. They're totally right. He is kind and takes the time to listen. He doesn't pass judgement. He is supportive of the well being of my children and offers great advice and alternative solutions. His team are AMAZING!! The nurses and assistants are friendly, patient and wiling to work with us. We also get in and out generally ON TIME! We've been seeing him for years now and his level of service and care is pretty consistent. Why would I dread taking my kids to see Dr. Gaitan? His receptionist staff were DREADFUL! It looks like they finally took notice of the patient surveys and got rid of them all. Except one but it looks like she's checked her attitude so that's a huge win. The last few times I've had to go in over the course of 3-4 months have been PLEASANT! Everyone is friendly and nice and welcoming. The check out staff are not as friendly but at least they're not giving me snarky attitude. I highly recommend going to see Dr. Gaitan.
