I agree with other reviewers. Most of their sales people at the Santa Barbara store are not the warmest…I shop at the Thousand Oaks store, much friendlier and attentive

Despite the mixed reviews, based on our experience today when my husband and I picked up the item we ordered online, we had a pleasant experience. Mia was courteous and friendly. Hope that this kind of customer service will be consistent since upon reading the other reviews, customer service seemed to be an issue. So far, so good.

Don't plan on getting any customer service. There are plenty of employees and they are too preoccupied decorating. They have no time to help you. I browsed the whole store and asked for help matching euro pillows to a comforter. They told me to check online. One reason why we will have no more stores to shop at. No one is gonna come here if going to the store is the same as going online.

By far one of the most lackluster Pottery Barns I've shopped at. Customer service pales in comparison to the hefty investments you're making in their furniture. In my experience sales associates are not attentive and make costly mistakes, disrespecting your time and money. This location makes me want to shop elsewhere.

Great store, horribly RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL manager Linda Sullivan . Bought 5 items, 3 of them were incorrectly priced on the receipt. Not the cashiers fault, as she just scanned the items. Unfortunately, Linda Sullivan, manager had to get involved to correct the transaction. She never acknowledged me, was openly demeaning to the woman that was helping me. She did not explain to the cashier or me how she has corrected the prices.. which scanned incorrect again when she did it!The cashier had to call for Linda’s assistance again!Once again she never acknowledged me, or apologized for the mistakes or the ridiculous amount of time it took to simply buy a few small items.Items scanned incorrectly, so Linda added a refund in the amount to compensate which I had to ask her to explain to me as she was asked for me to sign a receipt.. pointed and said sign here.. no explanation until I asked what I was signing.Totally RUDE and Unprofessional behavior from Linda Sullivan to both me and her staff. The cashier was apologetic and very sweet. I told her to find employment where she was treated better!

On March 27th of 2020, I purchased two Barrel (swivel) chairs. I chose a material I was told was sturdy. I paid over $600.00 for each chair. I live alone and actually I sit on my sofa. The seam in one of the chairs ripped (came apart). I consider that poor workmanship. I've had a sofa from Ashley's for 9 years (is it in it each night) and it looks great. I went to the Santa Barbara store and was totally ignored. Finally (weeks later) I spoke with Ms. Sullivan, the Manager. She called the Pottery Barn's Customer Service and quickly said that I was out of luck. I think that is just awful customer service. I also feel that this COMPANY must and dhould BACK their product(s). I would hesitate dealing with Pottery Barn. Remember, if at any time you may want some satisfaction regarding their shoddy product's you would be rebuffed, as I was. Katherine Wetzel, Santa Barbara, CA

Great store if you like their style. You will be getting what you like. Been shopping Pottery Barn for years, not always all went smooth, but overall experience is great,.

Small store but I can find a few things I need. I like to look around and see all the beautiful items they have. Friendly service and sometimes a short wait to check out.

Still waiting for my furniture that was supposed to be delivered a month ago. Credit card was charged right when I submitted the order. Bad customer service. Could do better with the amount of money they charge.

Bland bland bland as oatmeal unadorned. Virtually zero pops of color in the store, which is a bit of a head scratcher...

I ordered a duvet from Linda (store supervisor) at the Santa Barbara, CA Pottery Barn store on July 16. After waiting 2 weeks for my delivery, I called Linda back. She found my duvet on a shelf in the back room….never got shipped. She promised she would overnight the shipment. Two days later at 7:24 pm. I received a shipping notification. It was still in her store, not shipped. When I called back Linda (store supervisor) the next morning, she assured me it was in the mail and I would be receiving it. I shared the shipping confirmation with her, and that it had yet to be shipped, she said she would look into it and get back to me.Of course she never called me back. I had to make yet another call to Linda (store supervisor). What a surprise, she still had the package in her hands, 3 days after she told me she had sent it overnight. She was insincere with a short apology and offered no resolution. I cancelled the purchase.and requested my money refunded. Beware of Linda (store superviser) when dealing with Pottery Barn in Santa Barbara, CA… Dishonest, insincere, and dismissive.

The two women working in the store today never acknowledged that we were there. Went to homegoods instead.
