We had an incredible experience at PaliHouse. The ambiance was fantastic, creating a perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon. Vinny, the bartender, was an exceptional host and a delightful conversationalist, making us feel right at home. The drinks were perfectly balanced and delicious. As locals, we truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We cannot wait to return and enjoy the patio and the beautiful water fountain. Highly recommend

I am giving this establishment a very low rating due to a last minute cancellation by the property itself??? My wife was flying from Savannah,Ga. into LAX to visit my daughter and spend a couple of nights at PaliHouse in Santa Barbara. Girls trip all the way, fun & games, right? PaliHouse contacted my wife to explain that our reservation made 3 months prior to the visit on March 23rd and 24th was now canceled??? Had to scramble and find another place for The Girls Weekend to Santa Barbara. Very un-professional and not acceptable, with no apology or future credits. Hotels behaving badly!

Really felt like the hotel was overpriced for what they offered, especially regarding their service. No real amenities (no dinner, a poorly made american breakfast for $21 + tax for room service), no drinking water in the room, no one at the door to help us with the luggages (only available when asked and we had to carry everything to the lobby first from the parking lot) and we had an incident where the bathtub stopper didn’t work - where they said we had to wait indefinitely since they couldn’t find anyone to fix it… so my husband had to break it apart and re-assemble it to fix it…. For almost $1000/night for a family of 4, i feel like there could be way better options.

We loved this hotel. It was really stylish and fun. Great atmosphere. We had requested a room with a balcony and at check-in they never mentioned our request and gave us a room with a patio. It turned out fine but I felt they should have said, we saw your request and we are sorry we can’t fulfill it. Also there was some sort of medication on our floor that should have been cleaned up by housekeeping.
We would definitely stay here again. It is in a great safe and walkable neighborhood. Close to a lot of great tasting rooms and restaurants and the famous SB courthouse.

We were walking in downtown and my kid wanted to poop and we couldn’t find any restroom nearby but this hotel. Feel obligated to give them a five star review:)

We stayed here last week as we got married at the courthouse. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Fabian at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The room was absolutely perfect! We can’t wait to stay here again!

No real ameneties (restaurant/bar), location is beautiful but a walk to town. Had an in room massage (which is contracted out and a little awkward setting up) and the entire time the crew was using a leaf blower outside my room. Understand grounds work have to happen, but as one of the only occupied rooms that day it was bummer. Also booked with a late checkout request and was denied the morning of checkout. When booking, dont forget the resort fees/tourism and local taxes that end up being 100.00 extra per night. There are more affordable, updated places to stay in town.

We had a great stay at the Palihouse Santa Barbara. From the front desk team to the bar, everyone was lovely and helpful. Chandra, Noel, Emily and Maddie all were terrific and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Loved the fireplace in the room, the charming Santa Barbara design and style. The location is convenient to Zaytoon and a short walk to upper State Street and a longer walk to the beach. Overall it's a nice, intimate boutique hotel to enjoy in Santa Barbara. We will be back!Rooms: Charming and private with a fireplace which is a nice touch.Walkability: Many great Santa Barbara restaurants nearby. Also close to the Lobero Theatre. Longer walk to the beach through neighborhoods or down State Street.Food & drinks: Lovely cocktails at the bar.

Great reviews for a reason. I'm so happy we stayed here. We were here for our wedding (getting married at the Santa Barbara Courthouse). Great location. Beautiful hotel. They think of all the details here. The staff was super accommodating for everything we needed. Dog friendly. We felt so taken care of. We can't wait to come back for future honeymoons!

Made the best decision celebrating my birthday weekend here. The ambiance is so chic and lovely. They have a gorgeous patio with complimentary cocktail hour from 5-6 pm. They had a nice set up for the dog as well. Love their toiletries (all diptyque which is a brand I’m so fond of). Their location was excellent - 2 minute walk to the best Mediterranean restaurant (Zaytoun) , they also have complimentary bikes / helmets if you wanted to use to go to the beach or funk zone !100% would stay there again

A cute hotel, a great mix of casual and luxury. Walking distance from restaurants and sites in downtown SB. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the fitness center has everything you could want. Would highly recommend.
