Excellent customer service. Claudia and the other super pretty girl are so polite and nice. Also there are a couple nice young gents. Everyone is polite and attentive. The car wash is a good deal too. But the self serve fresh ground coffee with refillable mug is a $1. Get the mug. Best cheap coffee in California. Only thing I would improve: Better fresh cream options (bagged milk dispenser maybe)? and if the car washes were $1-2 less I would get them more often. I like their build a 6 pack selection.

From all the gas stations I’ve been to this one by far is the worst I stoped to get gas over the weekend and went in to buy a few items for starters the lady at the register seemed irritated and was not welcoming the store looked dirty and out of stock on some drinks and the bathroom was revolting the soap dispenser was empty who ever is managing that place is not following cleaning protocol nor cares about the store or customers if I could I wouldn’t even give this store a one star bc that is being too generous in my opinion.

This is my favorite drive thru carwash!! I love the point markets but this one is my fave in SB because it has the most efficient and quick drive thru for a clean car wash! Great quality and the quick service with the help of an attendant too.

Love all the staff at this location! I work next door and get my coffee and snacks from them. They have a good healthy selection. The best part tho is that all the staff working there are always happy, positive and welcoming and one of the staff members even remembers each of our staffs names. It's a special touch not often found these days. They always make my day!

Update: after this Yelp I was reached out and within days, could have been sooner if it wasn't my timing. But within days my tire expense was refunded and Jeremy At Mesa fuel is amazing! So thank you for acknowledging my post and refunding it back. I truly appreciate it. I would still use caution on the car wash , unfortunately I don't think I'd be using it but it's gotten my business back with the fuel.

Fine for gas because it’s the cheapest around but I fill up here frequently but don’t care for the lady at the front. I was filling up and came inside to get ice (nurse who works in her car and drives around for 9 hours a day) and she stopped me and said that I need to ask for ice. Not sure why that’s a big deal but just rubbed me the wrong way. Also said I come in there a lot (maybe been here 2 times before while I’m working and getting gas) and said I do this frequently. I’ve also been out of town for 2 weeks so I think she just isn’t a morning person. Won’t be spending $60 on gas here anymore. I’ll spend my money elsewhere and get ice from other gas stations who don’t bother their paying customers.

Chris at Fuel Depot is the best! All the staff are great and do such a good job. The place is always clean and well stocked. Grateful to have this business to rely on for gas or to grab a beer.

Honestly, Matt and Team are really the best. With the great store, fabulous water conserving-recycling car wash, and some of the best gas prices in town, I can't think of a better place to go.It doesn't feel like a typical gas station at all. It's always clean and bright, not dirty or dingy like a place you want to get in and out of as fast as you can fill the tank. There's always a warm, local, "general store" vibe when you go in for food, drink, or a lottery ticket like I do.People may not know this, but you can buy a pack of 5 car wash tickets at a discount. Pay for 5 basic car wash tickets and you get the max upgrade to "The Works." That's what I have done since they opened years ago, splitting them between our family cars. My son still has preteen memories of sitting in the car waiting for the rainbow wash to multicolor our windows.I'm really happy to see a well-run business flourish and it seems Fuel Depots are popping up all over town. Unless I have to, I never go anywhere else for gas or a car wash.Great job, Matt!

Being the only gas station in the Mesa shopping center, makes it a necessity for locals. It does get crowded, and it can be a bit of a cluster munch to get in and out especially with 7-Eleven right next door. And their car washing service is very convenient.

Still the best, fastest car wash in CA! You get what you pay for...so if you have a very dirty vehicle, chances are the drive thru system wont get every nook.

Convenient location with competitive pricing. However, the car wash is filthy. The recycled water often smells terrible (like sewer water) and leaves spots on the car. The dryer blower is so loud I can hear it at my house 1/4 mile away.

The market itself is nice inside. This is the only gas station on the Mesa so it's convenient and clean. The reason I give 2 starts is for their CAR WASH. I went their today and there was such a horrible smell outside the wash, inside the wash, and now inside my car. The smell is disgusting. I'm currently airing it out so hopefully it goes away. Also, I always get the Super Wash - $14. They are supposed to spray extra stuff on your car when you first enter. Depending on who is working, this happens or it doesn't. When they do spray the gentlemen working always look so irritated that they have to do it, and they just spray the front window and that's it. Also, my car was not clean, after the wash I stopped to wipe off my windows and there was still stuff all over it. My car was not overly dirty as I just washed it last week. I've tried this car wash 3 times and I think today was my last. Oh and, they have better beer/liquor prices at the store across the street or the liquor store next to Rose's Cafe just up the street. I want to like this place because of it's convenience but I can't. Gas prices are ok... there are lower ones in town, but again it's the only station on the Mesa so driving a couple miles away to save .10/gallon isn't really worth it if you're in a hurry or just want to get on the freeway.

I got a coupon in the mail for a free coffee at The Point Market. I always enjoy these little markets and find great finds whenever I visit. We're heading out for a road trip this Memorial Day Weekend (tomorrow) so I figured I should gas up and get the car washed anyhow. I'd heard about the burritos and knew I wanted to try one as well. So that one cup of coffee really sold me on the trip to La Mesa! The burritos are made fresh daily and delivered by one of my fav local spots: Mulligans Cafe! So I already know it's a hit. I asked if there was salsa and of course they had some in the refrigerator case by the register, so be sure to ask for that. Really great service too!! All of the employees were friendly and chatty and clearly had regulars coming in and out. I love it when a shop has great rapport with the customers! Coffee selection is outstanding! Lots of great options and all types of roasts. I chose hazelnut and was not disappointed! I did all this while gassing up and paid for the car wash at the pump so once I had my coffee and breakfast, I finished up the gas and headed straight into the car wash. It's a simple drive through car wash, but it does a great job and they have an attendant at the front guiding you through. I started on my coffee while enjoying the suds! Very soon after, I was on my way. I feel so productive this morning!
