“Marcel Hemp is my favorite shop in Santa Barbara. I happened upon this amazing store 30+ years ago and picked up a great pair of shorts that I still have today. “Located in the Santa Barbara Funk Zone, SeaVees has been my "go to" shop for shoes for years. My 5 star review is long overdue! THE STORY - A loooong SoCal history which has been reawakened .... epitomizing the California beach and surf culture. SeaVees was literally in suspended animation for 40 years but is back and better than ever!THE PRODUCT - Shoes, shoes, shoes and clothes and accessories. They continue to branch out with many styles of shoes..... not just the classic slip on casuals. THE SERVICE- World class customer service. The one time I had a problem, they immediately made it right and then some. No muss, no fuss, no questions asked. That is a sign of great organization! Word on the street is that the head of SeaVees sits behind the counter anonymously now and then to keep his finger on the pulse of the business and customers. Cool!And if that isn't enough, they are socially responsible in a number of levels including donating 1% of revenues for environmental causes! Stop by to experience SeaVees in person. “This store is amazing! My wife absolutely loves all the cute clothes and the men's section has everything you need from casual to dress. The jewelry is beautiful (I've gotten my wife some incredible pieces), great hat selection,, and tons of gift options for friends. Both Erica and Oakley are super helpful and offer honest suggestions on styles and what looks good. Seriously one of my favorite stores in SB! Feels good to shop local!”

I visit this store every year with my family when we go to Santa Barbara. The hoodies don’t shrink, they are warm and a great quality. The store is cool and it’s a welcoming vibe. It smells good inside and they have tons of cool Santa Barbara hoodies with vibrant colors that my kids loved too. This store left a lasting impression. We were greeted by team members and I explained what I was looking for. Esther was Heaven sent and so down to earth! She went above and beyond, searching racks to find what I described that I was looking for. I settled on an oversized button up shirt - it was the perfect color, feel and price! I do recommend this location and would return if in the area!”
“This Men’s Wearhouse location is by far the best I’ve ever visited, even compared to others across the country. Aleksandra is incredible at her job — she’s warm, professional, and makes every customer feel completely at ease. My fiancée and I, both women, came in to design her custom wedding suit, and from our very first visit to the day she picked up the finished piece, the whole experience was outstanding. Zack also stepped in to assist at times and provided excellent service. The entire team here is attentive, genuine, and truly skilled at helping you find what looks best. Their prices are reasonable without sacrificing quality. I’d absolutely recommend this Men’s Wearhouse to anyone looking for a top-notch experience!”

“My husband and I stopped in the store as we were walking back to our car after having spent the day perusing and browsing the goods of the mid week farmers market. The gentleman who was working was very sweet and told us all about the different promotions that were going on in the store. Unfortunately, my husband and I both had some difficulty finding all three items necessary from different categories to for fill one of the better promotions for the day. I loved some of the men's shirts. The prints were gorgeous and so perfect for the upcoming summer months. The store is super clean and is so nicely kept. It was especially a nice visit because the store was not busy. We chatted with the cashier a bit and he told us about a few other spots in Santa Barbara that we might want to check out as we were trying to figure out what to do about an early dinner. We had a really nice experience and it was especially nice because the store was so neat and tidy and everything was sized perfectly so that customers would not struggle to find their size in certain items or to at least look through their stock. Hopefully we can come back next time and find everything that we are looking for.”

“I’ve had nothing but the best experience at this Banana Republic! The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. A special shoutout to Kohl, who is absolutely amazing at putting outfits together. His keen eye for style and genuine enthusiasm have led me to purchase a few extra pieces I wasn’t even planning on—but no regrets!
What I appreciate most is that the team isn’t pushy at all. If they work on commission, you’d never know it because their focus is purely on helping customers, not making a sale. It’s refreshing to shop in an environment where the staff truly cares about making you feel confident in your choices.
