Wow. Hadn't visited Santa Barbara Marshalls in about a year and a half and was shocked to see how different this store is. It has been remodeled, and erchandise has been switched around. But the selection is not good. The quality of the merchandise is definitely not the same. Don't think I'll be going back. It's odd that this is happening, especially since that is the only Marshalls in Santa Barbara.

I purchased a rather flimsy London Fog luggage a month ago for a holiday trip to Seattle. I questioned it's durability and asked the cashier if it doesn't hold up may I bring it back? He assured me that if I returned it within 30 days it would not be a problem. Well, as I suspected it didn't make it there and back without getting ripped down the backside rendering it useless. I brought it to Marshall's with all of the tags, and the receipt, hoping to get the $100 that I wasted back. I was denied and her reason was because it had too much damage to it! She said "if it only had a rip I could take it back, but it has scuffs on it too" Total nonsense...the gal had an attitude toward me from the moment she saw me. I then asked to speak to a manager since I'm completely confused by this irrational rule that makes zero sense. The manager was equally uninterested in helping me with this. I think I these women had personal feelings that got in the way of them offering me fair customer service or any solution for the wasting my money at their store.
