Called to get a quote on a smog and oil change. I asked if any discount was available if I brought in my own oil and filter and was told no due to liability and wanting to take pride in their work which I respect. I however did not like the short and rude responses they gave on the phone to me and my bf ( since I accidentally gave my bf the same number to call as I am new to the area and he was helping me look around for the best prices for service). Very unprofessional and would have gone here for the services if not for the interaction on the phone. I think it's very important for the same professionalism to be kept to take pride in your work as more than two people can have the same type of car.
Edit: please learn to take constructive criticism. Got great service at pedros oil and smog (both services for $100, under 30 minutes!)

Imagine trying to charge someone $295 labor to replace a hose and a thermostat on a 2002 Civic with ease of access to the area in which they need to be installed. This guy is a complete ripoff. I can only imagine what he's charging to those who have less knowledge of vehicles.

My experience was great. I was on a road trip with my friend and somethings happened with my car. I was really worrying about someone will overcharge me for nothing. However, Kennedy’s team gives me free diagnostic and they assured me that everything was fine, I just didn't close the gas tank lid tightly. It was a great relief. Thank you so much!

These people will overcharge you if they can! Just keep that in mind if you take your car in??
(UPDATE): I must say I was actually very happy with the diagnosis they gave me, until they decided to DECLINE SERVICE to me for no particular reason. I knew what had to be fixed and I knew what kind of fix it was -I fixed half of the problem myself- so they just declined me as a customer because they couldn't charge me the full package.

I was on vacation 3 weeks ago and desperately needed my car fixed before our trip back home. While searching, I saw that they had great reviews and decided to give them a call. Best decision I ever made hands down. Once the parts came in, not only was the service very quick, but they gave a great and fair price. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of automotive work. The staff is top notch and very professional.

I had been putting off getting my air-conditioning unit replaced for over nine months. Previously, I had been quoted a number that I just did not feel was correct. When I phoned and spoke with Angela, she took the time in the initial call to look into parts, their availability, and gave a quote that was much lower ($800-$1000) for than the previous two.
Upon meeting her, she was warm, incredibly knowledgeable, and even had one of her technicians give me a ride to work. My car was serviced, washed, and ready in less than 24 hours. She has a client for life. I finally found a repair shop in Santa Barbara, that I can trust.

I had a 10/10 experience at Kennedy’s. Angela was so incredibly helpful in assisting me with my 2008 ford fusion and its engine oil leak. Her and her team were so honest and gave me the best support, advice, and deal I could get with the condition my car was in. Not only did they take my car in and finish the work fast and efficiently, but they were also so kind enough to drive me back to campus as they worked on my car as I’m a student. Being a young female student in college, Angela's expertise, professionalism, and compassionate approach ensured that the entire experience was smooth and comforting. Not only did they fix and give my car a clean up, but they also went above and beyond to ensure everything was in top condition.
