Meh. Not much there that would suit me personally. It all seemed a bit old lady-ish and high priced. My review is just about my taste. The store clerk was friendly and helpful so that's a big plus.

I liked Jessica's and was curious to see how the store was after a few months with the new owner. The whole time I was there the new owner ranted and complained about the street construction on Mission and horribly inconvenient it was for her and her customers. She went on indignantly that she was so well off that she didn't even need the store nor did she need to be open, and that she was going to take her daughter to a resort in Mexico for 1-2 weeks until it was done. Really? I'm just here to look at clothes- very unprofessional and unpleasant! Fast forward 2 years- Pros: Store: beautiful Cons: Clothes: expensive/designer Sizes: smaller Styles: older Owner: she was cooly civil at best. Neither her tone nor attitude was remotely welcoming. Midway through our browsing she gets her lunch and proceeds to noisily eat at the front counter, even though I was trying to look at the jewelry in the case. Still unprofessional and unpleasant!

Since most of your reviews are quite old, I thought I'd bring you up to date. Completely ignored by the saleswoman, and when I did ask her a question she seemed bothered. Most of the clothes are ridiculously expensive, and very few in anything larger than size 6. The woman even had the nerve to insult my body-type saying my ""boobies were too big". You know you said it. I'll shop at The Closet instead, thank you very much.

I went in for the first time today and was excited as I had been meaning to check out this store for sometime. The person at the desk didn't acknowledge me what-so-ever. It's a really small store so it made for an uncomfortable experience. Even though the selection of clothing is high quality their customer service is not. I don't intend to ever revisit this store and certainly will not be recommending anyone else to.

I am both a customer and consignor at Jessica’s. The consignment appointment went smoothly, I had to wait a little because I had so much stuff and it seems that now there is only one person working there , in my case the new owner. She was very nice and accommodating to my needs and took almost all my pieces. While she was working on my things , I shopped around ending up with a couple of cashmere sweaters and a jacket. Thank you !

This might be a good place to shop, but certainly not to sell. The new owner is not Jessica, unfortunately. She is incredibly rude and treats sellers like they are an annoyance and a burden. She’s only nice and welcoming to potential buyers, and as soon as you ask if you can sell or if you can check on your items she is extremely grumpy and short with all guests. After three visits of being treated with a bad attitude, and watching her treat other buyers this way, I finally decided to stand up to her and told her I would be taking back my items and never returning. She doesn’t seem to realize that in order to support a business like this, you need buyers as well, and should treat them with respect. After taking back the few items that hadn’t yet sold, I went to The Closet in downtown Santa Barbara and had an entirely different experience. They were so much more organized (even have an email update system so you can tell the status of your items which is really convenient), they were very nice, the items were for more contemporary buyers, and the store was bustling with happy shoppers. Jessica’s is almost certainly always empty, and now I know why. Unless you’re buying, don’t bother to visit this place!
