Excellent service for my Lexus and another vehicle. Expertly diagnosed and repaired issues with the Lexus which has 100000+ miles. Did a great job explaining pros/cons of repairs and what was necessary immediately or could be deferred. Would definitely recommend. Also, would recommend for older big block vehicles for inspections and maintenance.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Had a low pressure oil warning on our 2010 Lexus 450h and was leaking oil everywhere, they got us right in diagnosed the problem, located a few other issues that needed attention and had us back in service the next day. There are good mechanic/ business people out there and these are some of them.

**** SCAM ALERT **** Although the owner seems nice he will over charge parts and labor excessively and call you back with more and more problems then what you came in for. With how much he likes LS400's it's sad to see him try to make me pay as much as the car costs to replace a power steering pump. He also said my crank shafts were leaking oil and my water pump was also spraying everywhere, if I had got this fixed it would have cost upwards of $2000 luckily I took it to a more trusted mechanic and he took a look said everything was fine had to tighten two bolts on my valve cover which cost $100 and said my car had another 100,000 miles on it. I would highly recommend choosing any other place over Independent Automotive.

Asri and Colin are experts in solving any problem your car may have and effectively repair it usually within the day. They have worked on 3 different Lexus SUVs and now my Mercedes SUV...don't go to the dealerships, go to Independent Automotive Group!

Asiri & Colin were very helpful fixing my Lexus, One of the sensor lights for tire pressure indicated low. Prior to coming here, I went to a tire place. They said it was the battery because the tire pressure is fine. Then I went to the Lexus dealer and they said it wasn't the battery and now it's fixed. After a short time again the light came on indicating low tire pressure. Two places were not able to figure out that the sensor was triggered because of a nail in the tire, which was troubleshoot by Colin. Although it's a simple fix, It is attention to detail that matters. The Lexus dealer should have checked the tire for nails etc. I am glad the light has not come on since and got it resolved. The service was fast as well. Thank you for helping on this. I really appreciate it!

Asiri is great and has saved us so much money over the years. He saved us over $1000 on our review mirror that broke, he only replaced the mirror and the electronics and saved us over a grand not selling us a housing that we did not need. 6 stars!

Make sure if you come here you ask for an estimate with no charge and sign a document. I had asked for an estimate for something specific and they wanted $264 for just the estimate. I wasn't told there was a fee and when I questioned it they became very abrupt and rude. I never signed any documents or was given any paperwork. They are extremely unprofessional. I asked for a quote for a window to be fixed they wanted $400 for the part and $300 for the labor. I had gone to 2 other places and was quoted $430 including labor. All together they wanted $700. Make sure you know your stuff before coming here and get documentation! They also stated I had something wrong with my car which wasn't true. I had it checked by 2 other places. They would find a job that your car will not need, and overcharge you for that.! They wanted 1,700 for something that didn't even need to be done and nothing was wrong with it! Beware!!

I have a 2007 350 GS Lexus. I first took my car to Lexus Of Santa Barbara, because all my lights lite up on my dash board. Lexus took a quick look at it and said it was going to cost $4K to 5K to fix the problems. After that I knew I needed a second opinion. I looked up automotive places in SB that specialize in Lexus. So glad I did and found theses guys. Collin and his team are some of the best, professional, trustworthy and took the time to go over your options. These guys saved me about 1k worth of stuff and labor I didn't need to do on my car. Independent Automotive will now be my place to go for all car issues. Thanks again. -Jacques Manoux-
