This is the best local shop to get plants, artwork, crafts, jewelry, and even mugs! Seriously such a cute space and Hannah is SO friendly and knowledgeable. She’s a sweetheart and loves hearing about how our plants are doing, and wants to share her plant knowledge. She knows every plant she has in the shop, so there’s no guesswork. The prices are awesome, and even if they weren’t I’d still love coming here! So accessible and so lovely. ❤️

If you're in downtown Santa Barbara, you need to make a pit stop at Idyll Mercantile. In addition to a huge variety of houseplants, they also sell ceramics, posters, books and art from local artists. The owner was friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend!

I love this shop! In addition to plants, there are so many cute options for gifts (for yourself or for others). The owner supports many local artisans and small businesses. A great place to visit and add to your plant brood!!
