One appliqué, little trims, it's more about buying sewing machines and a little bit of fabric. Do yourself a favor and go down to Ventura to real fabric stores.

Grant was a pleasure to interact with. He went over the top to help me with my new industrial sewing machine and is very fair with pricing. Everyone I talked to over the phone was on top of everything also. A well ran business, I highly recommend them!

I completed a long-distance phone order to buy a sewing machine for my niece. I worked with Matt, who was very patient and understanding about what I needed to do. My niece there in Santa Barbara said the shop was very nicely arranged and had lots of nice fabric.

Santa Barbara peeps! This place is simply AMAZING!!! What a gem with fabulous fabrics, notions, sewing machines and so much more!! I went to Grant House Sewing Center looking for a walking foot sewing machine. Grant had one which he refurbished for me. He then spent well over two hours reviewing all of it's functions, features, and mechanics. Grant was very generous with his time and has been very helpful. I am using the machine and loving it. A much needed oasis for the sewing community in what had become a desert in Santa Barbara county. With a newly expanded selection of fabrics, which include a good selection of woven staples, classics, edgily clever prints, batiks and fun- cringe?orthy holiday yardage. Though GH is well stocked to juice the chops of novice and experienced quilters, they carry a very decent amount of high quality selection of textures, knits and suedes to entice garment making; and I see they are supporting the same with master pattern classes. They carry a wonderful selection of fun and creative tools/notions for quilters, crafters, and seamsters. For a store of their size they have for your demonstration and trial an insane number of wonderful machines which they can tell you about A to Z. Indeed, they can clean and repair your current one. It is absolutely impossible to leave GH without a project either in your head or in your hand.

Great store in the back, lots of quilting fabrics and sewing supplies. It took over 2 weeks to repair my little sewing matching. Great work, I was very happy, they even replaced a broken part. It's just a shame they don't have a repair person in store more then once a week.

Grant House is a wonderful man, and a terrific store. (Dichotomous, I know.) It is also the back bone for the sewing community. Great place for new and used machines, they know what they're talking about. They can help you with your questions, have plenty of stock, lots of fabrics and everything you need.
