Always great customer service! They don't have a car wash on site, so, when they are super busy, you don't get the car cleaned prior to re-rental; otherwise I would have given 5 stars:)

Cars, trucks and vans ordered here have never been ready on time, but you can at least get a decent rate + pickup if needed.

I had an issue but the staff at the Chapala, Santa Barbara branch dealt with it very promptly, professionally and to my complete satisfaction. I'd rent from there again without any hesitation. Chris.

Horrible service and crooks! I requested a 15 passanger van a couple of months before rental day. Later I confirmed in advance that I still need it this vehicle. One day before my rental, Enterprise office in Santa Barbara CA chapala street location called me and left message, asking me to call them back. So I did. Lady who pick up a phone, said that they won't be able to provide me with the type of van a request it 2 months earlier. So I asked to talk to manager. After waiting 10 minutes on hold, I called them back asking to talk to a manager. Rayan Paris assistant manager took my call. After describing my situation he confirmed and assured me that van I requested will be provided next morning at 9am. So next morning I came in to pick up my rental. I asked for Ryan. He told me that my van in wash and will be ready soon. After few minutes my van arrived. Then I walked to the van it was so dirty with dust of sand and inside the vehicle was mad and dust everywhere on the floor. It literally looked like it was just pooled from construction site and construction workers just walked out from a van.Also van fuel tank was empty. I pointed out to Ryan that this not clean van ( back doors or roof were not even wet and dust was even more noticeable) Whyle checking van conditions I also point out to Ryan Paris that van have a scratch on a side ( which when van is white and cover in dust hard to see) he said he'll make a note of that on paper work. After few short moments Ryan give me IPad to sign paper work about my rental. I choose my own car insurance and my excellent credit card insurance for this rental. However no paper work were provided on a spot and they email my rental paper work. After 10 days I brought my van back to this location only to be blame for a scratch on a van that I mentioned right away on a day of pick up. Ryan never acknowledged in paper work about this scratch. It was horrible and dishonest not to file anything that I said to him. I showed to him that it was there and he denied saying maybe van was scratched by someone else than me then van was parked. So I was left with no choice than provide them with my insurance information and paying my $500 deductible. Stay away from this location! I used to go there all the time and previous manager Mike was honest and professional. I already called my insurance and credit card dispute department rasking them both to press on Enterprise to release a video from a property, where clearly they'll see me pointing a finger on a damage that was on a van.

The place was totally desorganised last Saturday morning. 3 clients and I had to wait one hour for our car. When I asked when we will have the car, the manager answered "when we will have the time". On top of that the car was dirty and the manager had me sign the documents for insurance routside in a rush when I said I did not want any. Will try another place next time.

I always get a car above the level I requested in my reservation. And the cars work well.... Check in and out is efficient.

I have been renting from the Enterprise location on 601 Chapala St. in Santa Barbara for about 5 years, and for good reason! The people that work in that office go above and beyond my expectations every time I rent from them. They are knowledgeable about their cars, extremely patient with the throngs of people who sometimes manifest in their office at the same moment, and are always in a cheerful mood, regardless of what's thrown at them. As a hotel manager myself, I know how hard it can be when a customer is having a rough time of it and unfairly taking it out on staff. Hence, I really appreciate the professionalism on constant display there, regardless of the tone a customer takes. I will continue renting from and recommending this location! I am going to single out Michelle, who seems to be there every time I rent from them, running the show. I do hope they give her a raise and a vacation. She deserves it! But top notch service at every level! Enterprise, beam me up!
