Wonderful experience great service and great employees. Thank you, I’m sure it’s not easy trying to deal with every other angry and inpatient customer. State policy and procedures are your responsibility to obey by with the state of Sacramento. I’ve seen where customers want to be so pushy with employees and are rude to the employees. Sacramento you should be holding customer responsible for their actions when disrespecting your employees. Refuse service. You are all doing awesome Santa Barbara DMV. Greatest ever. You should really be enforcing a state law for disrespectful customers Refuse service, I’ve seen your employees get held out cussed at made employees cry.. smh. They’re only doing their job people!! Go to another dmv if not satisfied.

All of the employees that I came in contact with were very helpful. They all asked good questions and helped me to complete my title transfer quickly.

The saddest part of dealing with DMV is the fact that the outcome of your transaction lies on the person before you. Some of the staff are nice, friendly and efficient. Some staff are not that happy, professional yet still efficient to sent you home with an unfinished transaction. The DMV is the best example of a toss up.

I got to the DMV to get a new ID card and it was easy for me to do and I had my info and my friendly staff was very helpful and it took me 45 minutes in and out

You must have an appointment to get in the door. If you do and you are as ready with all your documents in hand you can get all your transactions done in one trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not like the nightmare d.m.v. days of old.

Got here half an hour before my appointment, they called me to the window before I could even sit down. The woman I spoke with was very helpful and friendly! I was in an out within 10 minutes. Best DMV experience of my life!!

These people are terrible at every interaction and don’t know what they are doing. You go through all the things the main DMV tells you to do (which are correct) and they still won’t help you. They are incredibly rude and high on their false power. Especially tech #41. AVOID and report them so maybe someone will come and retrain them.

While most of the employees here are nice and trying their best to do their job it has been EXTREMELY annoying to a correct answer to a few simple questions. Each individual employee has a different answer to the same question. I have been trying to get an issue solved for over 6 MONTHS now. I am at the DMV almost weekly dealing with the issue. I go in ask my question, get an answer as to what I need to do, I leave go do what I was told I need to do, go back the next week with all my documents ready only to be told "no you need xyz". So I ask again what exactly do I need. Get told something completely different. I inform the person I am talking to that I was told previously something completely different.....and am reassured the new instructions are correct. I leave, gather what I now assume is the correct documentation. I return a week later...and told AGAIN my documents are not what they need. No one there gives me a straight answer or proper information. Evey single employee has a different answer to the same question! The run around I have been getting is infuriating. I would use AAA except this one issue must be dealt with at the DMV unfortunately. Yesterday I literally lost my temper and walked out. I am at my wits end with this. Government bureaucracy at its finest! I LOATHE the DMV! One star only because the staff is at least courteous otherwise no stars for the complete BS of trying to get a very simple problem taken care of!

Going to the DMV is never fun, but Kim H. made the experience even worse. She is the short, older, blonde woman and she was incompetent and rude to say the least. She tried to deny me a moving permit and a current report of deposit of fees for seemingly no reason other than she doesn't know how to do her job. The other Hispanic woman that I went to today was actually nice and helpful so thank you to her.

Was fast and easy. Just have your documents ready when called. If you have no appointment it takes about 40 mins to get to anyone.
