These pharmacists do not know about the medications they are handing out and withhold prescriptions from patients erroneously.I was prescribed inhalation capsules that come with a special inhaler device. CVS showed me the capsule box and told me I needed separate prescriptions for the inhaler and the for the capsules. My doctor said this didn’t make sense, but still resent the prescription TWICE with notes saying I need the inhaler CVS, still insisted they needed a totally separate prescription for the inhaler and refused to give me the medication.The doctor sent the same prescription to another pharmacy. I picked it up and it was the exact same box that I would have gotten at CVS…and it had the inhaler and the capsules inside, for $200 less than I would have paid at CVS. Went back to CHS to confirm the mistake and they just read the box again and said “oops”. This was an urgently-needed medication that I got two days late because 2 techs and 2 pharmacists at CVS didn’t know what they were doing.

They resell used dirty items like hairbrushes, the store is FILTHY, half of the products are opened, and there are hardly any cosmetics. Id give this place negative five stars if I could. Go to Vons pharmacy up the street. Seriously this olace is the worst in California. The manager must be braindead.

Really, why does anyone use this pharmacy. The average wait time is well over 30 minutes. The employees all look beat down and miserable. You can now get regular prescriptions from Amazon delivered to your house. Avoid using this place. It is truly terrible.

The absolute WORST. There is almost no cosmetics to buy, half the stuff is opened, its the worst shop in Montecito. Seriously, management needs to get it together not ever going back. Id leave negative if I could .

Repeated failures to have prescriptions filled on time. Extra trips cost time and money. Their phone robot will tell you a prescription is ready when it is not.We have not been able to get calls answered for several weeks. Sometimes closed for lunch hour. This CVS should close down for our health and safety!

Here is a recap of my recent visit. I walk up to the counter and as I hand the employee my drivers license I say, "Hi, how are you?". He replies, "same as every other day". I say, "Good? Great?" He replies, "Terrible."

How can this pharmacy remain open ??? The interior looks horrible & dirty.The employees are helpless.Lines long.Really a horrible CVS ! Management needs to review ,remodel and hire new employees.

This is honestly by far the worse CVS in all of California. Constant long lines at the pharmacy, most times having to wait 20-30 minutes, with never enough staff - and when there is staff they are EXTREMELY rude, with ZERO management or oversight these rude employees get away with speaking to customers like trash. I am local and have been a good customer of this CVS for over 15 years spending nearly $400 every time I go, but after todays' experience I will no longer be going there and will be telling our local community group to go to any pharmacy than this CVS. On 10/20/22 @ 3:20pm one of their rude staff members by the Name of Daniella (the name she gave - wearing glasses and blue gloves). After waiting in a long line I decided to just use the self checkout (which never works but I decided to use it) sure enough after checking all 40 items there was a problem, Daniella took her time to help me, and upon asking me to input some info into the machine it locked us out and she said that she would help me at the register, which I had no problem with - but she decided to help the next customer behind me "because she only had two items" and have me wait in line all over again. I really believe this was a race thing, she just didn't like me for some reason. So I just decided to leave as I didn't want to wait in line again but I went back in to tell her (in a respectful way) how rude it was to help someone in front of me ever though she saw I was there long before the woman behind me and the machine was at fault for my checkout problem - and instead of just apologizing to me for her mistake and trying to help me with the items, she was extremely rude to me in a verbally aggressive manner, tying to deflect me (which is a sign of guilt) and just walked away from me instead of trying to rectify the situation, or even just apologizing to me. So instead another worker came up and apologized to me for Daniella's behavior and mistake (which Daniella herself should of done) but offered no reasonable help with my 40 items so I just had to leave them, as well as told me she didn't really work there (wearing a CVS badge?). This behavior is absolutely unacceptable, it's likely not the first time she has acted this way, and certainly will not be the last time she will treat others this way. We will no longer be going to CVS after this nasty experience.

Incredibly understaffed pharmacy, takes forever to get a call through or pick up a prescription. The people are constantly messing up faxing to doctor’s offices and rarely have prescriptions ready in a timely manner.

CDC recommends booster for even 5-11 yr olds! Turned away because we were not over 55?!! It took much effort and time make our appointment and denied vaccine because we are not senior citizens. Incorrect statement from pharmacist. Know updates from CDC before wasting people's time. Don't book your vaccine here unless you are 55 yrs old or older :)
