Right in the heart of downtown. This CVS had everything I needed.

The pharmacist guy is absolutely the most unfriendly person I've ever encountered. Not only is he unpleasant, he decides that a 90 pill (non-narcotic) Rx should be 30 pills overriding what my doctor ordered. I am switching pharmacies and will never be back!

Went here for my flu shot and Covid booster; I wouldn't come back. The two white male pharmacists (didn't get names) were very unpleasant. And I get not wanting to deal with customers, but they couldn't even pretend. They were glowering at everyone and snapped quite harshly at a few people. To be honest, the vibe seemed like they would rather eat glass than help anyone there and it made me feel weird about letting them inject anything into me. And they forgot the flu shot that I paid for so I had to remind them. I just wanted to get out of there by the time I was done.

The pharmacy team, Surai, Mariana, Vivian and Brian provide good service. Rarely is there a line to wait and parking is easy behind the store, free for 90 minutes. This store seems well managed and though smaller than some stores it is well stocked. Their Carepass monthly deal provides good values, discounts, sometimes with coupons for 30% off most items except RX's.

Terrible service. I waited on the line for a call to the pharmacy and after 20 minutes decided to go somewhere else. Horrific customer service. Pathetic.

The PHARMACIST SURAJ at this CVS behaves in a RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL manner. The problem started when the pharmacy did not have enough of the medication I needed following surgery (typical stocking failure at this pharmacy -- happens all the time). They filled a partial order and when my wife went the next day to complete the order, Suraj refused to fill it. He claimed I already had enough medication released to me, despite my doctor's instructions. Suraj proceed to insult my surgeon and talk down to my wife. He behaved rudely to my wife in person and to me on the phone when I spoke by phone trying to explain the situation. Suraj took it upon himself not only to comment critically on my medical care but to obstruct the medical care that my surgeon is trying to provide. He finally released the medicine after "mansplaining" to my wife the effects of this particular medication. THE PHARMACIST SURAJ was RUDE AND INSULTING to us as customers and UNPROFESSIONAL in his comments and behavior. My recommendation is that he be sent for retraining in customer service and learn how to behave in a professional manner.

I routinely visit this CVS to pick up a monthly prescription for my husband who has Lymphoma. A month ago, as I was waiting for the prescription to be filled by the great pharmacy staff, who mostly all recognize me and are friendly and nice. After sitting down on the nearby chairs, I realized that I was about four feet away from a young female employee, who was restocking shelves with her face mask pulled down around her neck. I got up and quietly moved away, but then saw the Store Manager (Kevin) restocking shelves nearby, with the top of his mask positioned under his nose, only covering his mouth and chin. I walked over to him and politely asked if all employees were expected to wear masks to protect others, since the public is required to do so. I commented that I have a cancer patient at home and really need to feel that it's safe to come in and regularly pick up his prescriptions. The young female employee heard my comments and pulled her mask up to cover her nose and mouth. Kevin then pulled up his mask to correctly cover his nose, but he gave me a disdainful look that obviously indicated that he would lower his mask again, the minute that I left the store. I followed this encounter up by calling the CVS Regional Manager, who advised me that the situation, and Kevin's attitude, would be discussed with him. Today, I was back to pick up this month's prescription and, not surprisingly, Kevin was again wearing his mask positioned below his nose while he was down on the sales floor. I walked up to him and calmly, firmly, yet still politely, said, "Do you remember our conversation from the last time I was in? Why are you still ignoring the safety of the CVS customers and your staff?" He immediately pulled his mask up over his nose and then very sarcastically said, "You know what? I think they're going to begin creating cells to lock people up who aren't wearing their mask correctly." Kevin's behavior is ABSOLUTELY immature, unprofessional, inappropriate, and completely ridiculous for someone who is designated as a Store Manager! He should be choosing to set a great example for his employees, as well as respecting and valuing his customers. I guess it's time to call his Regional Manager again, and perhaps a few more calls even further up the CVS chain of command!

I dropped a few prescriptions off and got a call from the pharmacist an hour later asking me a bunch of questions about doses, where I had filled them before, etc. I answered truthfully and he said he was "not comfortable" with filling them. I asked if he could call the doctor who prescribed them (his number was on the rx). He refused to even consider it. I asked there was anything I could do to help him and like five times he said he "was not comfortable" filling them. I was talking to a brick wall. My Mother is literally a pharmacist. I know the rules by which they must abide and the liability they have so I understand the caution with regulated medication. This guy was just a j**** I've filled the exact same prescriptions for years with absolutely no issue. I went exactly one block away and got them filled without issue. I've gone to this store at least 10 times as a regular customer buying things off the shelf (not the pharmacy) and the staff is incredible. That one pharmacist is the problem.

Pharmacy fills scripts late, not at all, or incorrectly. Then blames the customer. How that comes about is a mystery.

Several part-time pharmacists there appear to have little or no practical, workplace experience. Incorrectly filled prescriptions, failure to request refill authorizations in a timely manner and failure to ask prescribing drs for authorizations when prescribed medications are not in the formulary are the least of the part-timers' shortcomings. Best to avoid so you don't find out what the rest of their shortcomings are. One might be the life saving medication you needed but didn't get.

February 1, 2020, at 1:47 PM. I purchased 3 Haagen Daz ice creams, 14 oz size, assorted flavors. The first one was consumed immediately, the same day. It appeared to be OK. The second one was consumed later that evening. The second one seemed to be OK, but as I got closer to the bottom, it was obvious it had not been refrigerated properly. The bottom had melted and then refrozen, before I bought it. Ck'd my freezer, the thermometer showed a temp of minus 5 degrees F. Developed nausea a few hours later that night, then extreme fatigue for the better part of a week, Notified the store manager, Kevin Hilton, of the refrozen ice cream and asked him to ck with his vendor to try to prevent future occurrences. Mr Hilton sent me an email, a few days later. indicating he wanted to discuss it with me. Saw him Feb 7th, Thursday, at the store. I told him I wanted to discuss it as well but was in a hurry, I would do it later when it was mutually convenient. Kevin, not to be put off, followed me down the back stairs and started an apparently prepared speech. "YOU ARE MAKING A LOT OF COMPLAINTS. IT SEEMS WE CAN'T PLEASE YOU. NO ONE HAS EVER COMPLAINED BEFORE." Kevin even quoted the ice cream vendor, who was not present, as saying, he, the vendor "had never a complaint before about melted ice cream". Kevin repeated his speech several more times with the additional filip, "YOU WOULD BE HAPPIER GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE." As background, the store freezer, full of ice cream, had malfunctioned a short time before that. Many pints of ice cream had melted but refroze when the freezer came back on. I mentioned to Kevin, at the time, those ice creams should be properly disposed of. The vendor or Kevin may have been putting a few pints of refrozen, spoiled, ice cream back in the freezer in an attempt to minimize the dollar loss. Whatever the cause, spoiled ice cream should not be sold. Telling customers to go somewhere else is not an effective way of dealing with concerns about spoiled products. CVS needs to take the necessary steps to prevent future occurrences.

Do Not go to the pharmacy! This place is awful. Terrible service. I went to the store and dropped off a prescription and thought everything to be perfectly fine. However, about one hour later, I receive a phone call from the pharmacist informing me he cannot take my prescription. I received the prescription from my doctor while at UCLA to help me with my ADHD. After explaining to the pharmacist that my prescription was from my doctor at UCLA, he stated, "I am sorry, I do not feel comfortable taking the prescription". Wow, I guess prescriptions from UCLA doctors are illegitimate and not valid. I was really bothered by this experience. I have never had an issue with my prescription with other pharmacies. Never coming here again!

There is an older woman who works at this CVS. I don't know if she's trying to get fired or if she's been working there so long she's sure she won't be. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I'm there... she is in a confrontation with a customer. Last time I was waiting in line for 5 minutes behind only one man. She was talking to him about Lionel Richie and I don't even know what. I said after waiting patiently, "Excuse me, is there another register open or is this the only line?" and she said "No. But if you want to make a complaint the manager is right there." I walked out without buying anything. Yesterday I intentionally didn't get in her line and she ended up getting in another confrontation with a customer over whether or not they had asked for a bag. I know it's just a drugstore and not a big deal but basically she should just quit or be let go. Get a massage, go for a walk, chill the f out. You work at CVS, try to smile once in a while, you might be surprised by the results.
