We noticed the CODA store in Playa Vista near where i lived in LA, and fell in love with their beachy chic vibe. Then I saw the most amazing dining room table posted on the Montecito CODA instagram account. Unfortunately after some confusion, it was revealed that the table I had seen no longer existed. But I was assured we could get the same base for table made at the downtown workshop for a premium. So we went ahead with it. This was June 2022. What has transpired since is so shocking coming from a high end design store or any straight shooting business for that matter. Due to alleged changes in management at the downtown factory, what was promised to be delivered within a month was delayed by 3 months because it would have to be manufactured in Bali. Then, November came and went and I was told after I chased CODA salesperson down that due to no explanation at all, the base of my table wouldn’t be delivered until end of year. December came and went. Then they said February. And now, I’ve reached out yet again (twice in order to get a response) and the “shipment is still on the container in Bali and hasn’t been shipped” and will take at least 45 days from time of shipping, which means march at earliest. We paid them over $12,000 in full in early June 2022. And now we might see the base of our table by march 2023? But they’ve lost all credibility in my book with all the empty promises. They are completely unreliable. The communication on their end has only existed because of my reaching out. This table was over $12,000. For a price tag like that, you’d expect a lot more. But CODA is a scam business and completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy anything from here.

This company is built on thievery and cheating customers. Don't do business here- the customer service in non existent!!! You will regret it.
