I have had an excellent experience working with this Chase Branch. I am especially appreciative of the above and beyond service I received from the branch manager Juan Rodriguez. He was incredibly patient and helpful. He walked me through opening an estate account and helped me set up a safe deposit box drilling down in San Diego saving me a long trip. All the staff I interacted with were very helpful and friendly. Thanks so much!

I've been a chase member for over 5 years. I never had a fraudulent transaction but I finally had a credit card fraudulent transaction for over $300. I went to the bank and attempted to file a fraud dispute, and all they gave me was a contact number to call. What kind of bank does not have a representative to physically assist with this. They are really good to sell you on a credit card but can't help when you have these types of issues. I was already frustrated but said okay this is there process I will call. I called the number and was answered by a fraud specialist named Ray Banares who did not even understand what I was saying to him. I hate to be that person but someone who does not understand or speak the English language should not be a fraud specialist. Again I said okay he can help, I hope. Come to find out I saw the new credit number on my online account but did not see a temporary credit. I called again and was helped by Erica D. who said that no fraud dispute had taken place at all. I was already "boiling"frustrated. Erica D. finally had informed me that she would place the fraud dispute for me and take care of this. The worst experience I have ever had, I hope In the next few days this gets resolved! Erica D. Also informed me that they are not supposed to give out there full name but apparently Ray did.

This location is my go-to when I'm in Santa Barbara and in need of a specific cash amount. I've been a Chase customer ever since Washington Mutual had changed hands several years back. I haven't had any major issues to date. Chase's website and smartphone app are both cutting edge and very easy to navigate through. I appreciate how they consistently update the app, typically adding a shortcut or two each time I log in. This particular branch is centrally located in Santa Barbara. My only gripe is their too-tight parking lot. If a vehicle doesn't pull all the way into a spot, the entire row will be blocked from the ability to drive through. However, I know that this bank likely leases the venue so it's not really their fault. Otherwise, I have no qualms. The building is well landscaped and offers great curb appeal. The tellers are always bubbly and willing to assist as best they can. I appreciate how there's always a greeter who is willing and able to point you in the right direction. My favorite feature is the self-serve teller indoors. While the outdoor self-serve tellers allow you to pull money out in increments of $5, the indoor kiosk will let you go for an exact amount (i.e. $247.62). There is usually never a wait and I will gladly utilize it if I'm ever in need of a particular amount. Good chain, good branch overall.
