So pumped on this place. I started looking at bikes and got overwhelmed with the options, and the cost of the quality bikes. These guys made it so easy, and found something in the price range I had, and the thing runs like a charm. They were very patient with my questions, and gave me a ton of info. I also love the fact that They are repurposing beautiful bikes!

My daughter's e-bike brakes were in desperate need of adjustment. The folks over at Boom Boom Bike Room couldn't be nicer! On a busy holiday weekend, they fit us in and not only adjusted the brakes but also the alignment. And they are so affordable. Will definitely be going back for any of our bike needs (we have an old Schwinn, a new Electra and a beach cruiser). I had called around on Friday as having to cart the teen around all weekend was going to be challenging and they were the only shop that said sure, bring it on by. Near Mission & DeLaVina where the old Cajun used to be. I love the people out at Bicycle Bobs but this is much closer, smaller business with just the nicest staff. Thank you!

I came to the shop with an impromptu visit. My bike had some unexpected issues and needed urgent repair for me to bike home. Despite my anxiousness about the situation, David was very calm and was able to take a look at my bike on the spot.David educated me on what happened with my bike and how it could be fixed in order for me to get home. We talked about the bike shop history, gave me some tips for local bike trails, and welcomed me to join their community for future events.I will be back to get any of my bike needs met!

These guys are awesome. I live in the neighborhood and they have definitely made such a positive impact on the community here. I've brought many bikes of mine to get tuned up, and recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vintage Klein build from them. I can't speak more highly of this shop, their customer service and dedication to the local cycling community is second to none.

Chris & the team are the best in the business. I knew I wanted a vintage, vibey mountain bike with modern components, and he translated my ideas into my dream bike. Reminded me of going to a skate shop back in the day -- pick your frame, wheels, tires, components, etc. and leave with a crisp setup. 10/10 A+++ would buy again

Took my 13 year old bike in for a tune up and it came out feeling brand new. Not only was it tuned up, but my break pads, break cable, chain and back tire were replaced. It was affordable too. Usually it'd be a solid 150+ for all of the above, generally more. This was all under 100. Super easy process too. Was in and out quickly to drop it off and pick it up both times. They're really friendly too. The difference in the way my bike feels is absolutely night and day. I forgot it could feel that smooth to ride to be honest. 100% recommend. Stop going to the hoity toity overpriced spots all throughout Santa Barbara and give these dudes some business.

The Boom Boom specializes in beautifully restored retro bikes. A Schwin Stringray with a banana seat? They got it! I wanted to put a playing card on the wheel with a clothespin to make it sound like a motorcycle, haha! The walls are adorned with cool, colorful old bikes in gorgeous mint condition. For me, it was like a little museum, a glimpse into my childhood. Repair shop in the back. Clothes, T-shirts, hats, and accessories for sale, too. They also own the barbershop next door. An odd combo, but why not? Just opened (April 10, 2021). Ride on!
