Highlights is breakfast - the quality is superior and way beyond 3 star. Staff are friendly and helpful. Last but most least, free car parkings!

This motel has a great location and plenty of free parking. The rooms have been upgraded a bit but it still feels a lot like the old Best Western that it is. Definitely worth staying here a few nights if you get a good price and you don't plan on hanging out in the room much. I appreciated the complimentary water bottles, mini fridge, and coffee machine in the room. There was a complimentary breakfast which was a plus, but alas there was no waffle iron.

Wow! Our new favorite place to stay in Santa Barbara! Great location right across the street from the harbor. Walking distance to many restaurants, including Stearns Wharf. There is some noise from the street, but all hotels in this area are across the street from the beach, not directly on the beach.We had a harborside room with a balcony. Definitely recommend choosing one of these rooms .The balcony was perfect - large enough for 2 comfortable chairs and a table. Covered and protected from the direct sun and wind. We enjoyed dinner on the balcony. (Thanks, Door Dash!)Fun to watch the activity on the harbor and have a view of the oceans and mountains in the background. And the balcony furniture was spotless. I always wipe that down and this time the wipe was still perfectly clean after wiping the furniture!The room appears to have been completely refurbished, including new sliding doors that actually work.The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a huge step above the typical free hotel fare. And there are no hidden "resort fees". Parking is even free, along with free electric car charging.We will be back!!

Great location right on the beach, walking distance to Amtrak station and nearby restaurants. Kevin was so kind and helpful, really appreciated the stay.

This is an older property at a great location. Waited about 15 min in the lobby because no one was there upon our arrival around their check in time at about 5pm We are frequent visitors to Santa Barbara. However, be aware…!!! Week later, and only after I called about my security deposit not being reversed, I was told I’m being charged for wallpaper damage in the bathroom! We are 50/60 yrs old, stayed in the room just to sleep really and definitely did not create any damage. The management did not contact us, they just simply kept the charge. Stating they have a picture, I asked for time stamped pic right before and right after our move out - but they can really provide picture from any room. It’s a terrible situation, very very poor business practice. Disputing the charge, ready for small claim court. This is bad for the community.Please be very very cautious and maybe take a video of the room before and after. But really?? Is this what traveling became? Watch your back? Shame on you Beachside Inn.

Beautiful and convenient location staff was nice. Would stay again though would need to do a thorough check that you do not leave anything behind as it seems housekeeping we keep it for themselves.

Clean nice rooms and breakfast. Staff are friendly. Great location across from the beach.....Rooms: Rooms are very clean and well kept. I would suggest you would change out the shower heads so they do not drip on your hair all the time with the overhead shower head. I would recommend a hand sprayer head only since it is a smaller shower stall.Nearby activities: Walking distance to beach, marina and Stearns Wharf.
