After experiencing some out of the blue car troubles driving through Los Padres national forest, I called Ayers Automotive and they went above and to get us back on the road. Anthony was very reassuring over the phone and even though it was nearing the end of day he managed to get us in. Tony the mechanic was friendly and informative and the two of them had us back on the road in no time. If I ever break down near Santa Barbara again I know who I’m calling.

I went to Ayers for car maintenance and repairs three times. I am satisfied with the service I received. Each time the office gave me informations about the possible options about the work needing to be done, the time it would take and the cost. Everyone was professional and respectful.

Misleading advertising, they offer you car washing and vacuuming in their packages and when you are with them they do not tell you that they are not going to give it to you, until you check your car and you realize that they did not do it.

Anthony and the guys at Ayers are the best! I was on a roadtrip from SD to Monterey and my starter gave out on my older model Acura in Santa Barbara and was in a tough spot when none of the dealerships could fix my car same day. They squeezed me into their busy Saturday schedule right away and had the car fixed completely in just a couple hours while we enjoyed the food and beverages from the public market next door and a tour of the epic courthouse. These guys are a top notch shop and were efficient, quick , professional , friendly and excellent at fixing the issues to get us back on the road asap

Bad experience with them, I talked with Anthony who said he will be having the right oil transmission for my car, after I told him my all info of my car + he had my info already because I been there before I got appointment taking the car really early in the morning for later in the evening he call me and he said he doesn't have the right one and it would be now $600 when the first estimated it was $250 making me lose my all day and trying to charge me more then officially dealership shop, this is not the first time with this guys, no recommended in my experience if you want to pay overprice

scam artists--the lot is always full with cars needing maintenance, they have a 50% chance of actually fixing the issue and a 100% chance of cocky, arrogant attitude. At least know what you're doing if you're going to charge hundreds of dollars. Pretty much paid 800$ to park in their lot and collect dust while they "fixed" the issue

I was driving down the coast from Seaside to Los Angeles and I started to hear a scrape when we hit dips in the road. I pulled over and called the nearest auto shop. Ayers was about to close, but they said to come over. They quickly discovered something had become loose and a part was scraping the ground. They fixed it within 5 minutes and didn't charge at all. I was totally willing to pay as they saved me from not being able to get home. I am so grateful for their kindness and willingness to help me in a pinch. Thank you 1000%!

My goodness gracious. Ayer’s is wonderful! I had the pleasure of being helped out by Robert who was extremely kind and patient as I needed to push my appointment time. The location is prime and, of course, the service was exactly what I needed. I had trouble finding a place that would change my oil as my car requires a specific type, but no trouble here!

I have been going to Ayers for a long time. There don't over charge and work quikley to get my car back too me. They even washed the out side of my car. If I had to say something bad about them would be my streering was a little greasy hand prints.Over all I would recommended them and they are always nice.Thanks,sun
