“I have used Sunshine Auto Spa in the past but never wrote a review. Since I recently had two cars serviced here, I thought I’d write a multi-part review about my experience.
I had two cars treated with ceramic coating. One is a brand new Audi Q3, the other is a 2018 BMW 4-series. For both vehicles, I chose the Ceramic Pro two-year warranty (a.k.a. bronze package) option. Both vehicles also had minor paint correction done before the coatings were applied. The BMW also received a “mini interior detailing“.
Overall, the service was good. Both vehicles came out very shiny and clean, inside and out. Each vehicle took one full day to complete. The exteriors definitely have that “wet” look that I was hoping for. And, since both vehicles have metallic paint this made them look even better. There is definitely some hydrophobic qualities about the coatings such that water tends to bead and roll off the surfaces easily. This also helps them stay cleaner looking by allowing dust to also release more easily.
For the mini interior detailing on the BMW, all the surfaces were clean and conditioned without any greasy residue. I wasn’t a huge fan of how the conditioner smelled but it did dissipate over the next couple of days. A vehicle air freshener covered it up easily until it was gone. They did a good job of removing dust and debris from cracks and crevices on the doors, dash, and center console.
Ceramic coatings look good and are supposed to be fairly durable. Since this was just done I can’t really comment on how it will wear over time. I intend to come back to this review several months from now to report any changes or issues that might have come up. I realize that ceramic coatings are not bulletproof but my hope is it will be durable enough to prevent minor blemishes and help keep the car looking clean and shiny for quite some time.”
“Great service, super knowledgeable! I took my VW Jetta in here recently to get a light changed. A few other shops had previously told me it would be pricey as they would be removing the bumper. These guys took a look, and fixed it by popping the hood and accessing it from there. Made my day, highly recommended!”

“Anacapa Auto Body & Paint is the best! I needed a repair and my insurance company kept sending after markets parts, often damaged, instead of my car makers actual parts. Kayla would deal with them on the phone and then again their would send after market parts. Kayla didn't give up; finally after back and forth many times and repeated phone calls the insurance company sent the actual new parts. Kayla and her father John run a great, high quality repair shop. I am so glad I found them.”

“AMAZING!! Go here if you want great service. I had AAA come out to replace my battery. They sent their driver but he did not have my size of battery. I then drove to two different stores and both took one look and told me no they couldn't change it because "it will take to long." I do not like the parking at O'Reilly but it was my last chance. I spoke with Enrique the manager who immediately popped outside, looked at the battery and told me no problem. I as in and out within 15 minutes!!! I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Enrique and to all the staff who were so friendly and professional.”

“I was shopping for a new car and saw that Bunnin Santa Barbara had the color I wanted that was kind of rare and the price was right..the problem was, I live about 75 minutes away! I took a chance and asked if there was any way someone could bring it out to me to test drive/buy because I just wasn't able to make the drive before someone else snapped up my cute 2024 Trax!...and to my surprise, it was no problem! Within a few hours, a very nice person named James (I think?) delivered the car in person and I loved it and bought it from the comfort of my own home. Amazing! Another employee pulled in a few minutes later to bring him back to Santa Barbara. I literally have never had a car buying experience so easy and so great. Thank you so so so much!”
“Santa Barbara BMW over delivered on my expectations for a sales experience. I had been looking for a 2023 BMW X5 45e all over the southern California area. After two weeks, I was in contract with no less than 7 Los Angeles area dealerships and was getting extremely frustrated. From salespeople simply not responding to salespeople sending me pricing for an X3, to receiving emails from four people at one South Bay location, yet not one of them following up to answer questions or provide pricing. I finally expanded my search to Santa Barbara BMW and Jimmy Trieste immediately responded with answers to all my questions on the X5 I found on their website, provided pricing options, and negotiated my BMW lease trade all in under 24-hours. Jimmy knew it was a long drive for me to get to Santa Barbra from LA and traffic would be bad on a Saturday, so he arranged all the paperwork to be sent ahead of time electronically. When I arrived at the dealership, he had my new X5 waiting for me out front, took the keys to my BMW and already had their tech specialist waiting next to my car to set up my phone and get the technology synced. He then showed me to the finance office who was ready and waiting for me and the paperwork was finalized in under 20 minutes. All told I was in and out of BMW Santa Barbara, driving my new X5 in UNDER AN HOUR! This is 5th BWM and I have never received that kind of service. It was incredible. When I got into my new X5 there was a gift box waiting for me on the seat with goodies from BMW Santa Barbara too! Previously I purchased 3 BMWs from the same dealer and never got so much as a keychain as a thank you from them. This was my first experience at BMW Santa Barbara, but it will not be my last. I highly recommend Jimmy, he will take care of you, make the process painless and ensure you get exactly the type of service you expect from BMW.”
