Peggy has taken care of all of our pets. She is wonderful. She is great with the animals and knows what they need. My cat lived to 22 years so that is saying a lot about Peggy. I trust her and this is a great place to feel connected to your vet, this is not a conglomerate, you work with Peggy and that makes a huge difference in the continuity of care. Sarah our dog loves going to see her which hasn’t happened at any other vet. Vinchenza our cat got the best care including end of life care. Thank you Artemis and everyone that works there for taking such good care of us and our pets. We love you!

I recently visited Artemis Animal Clinic for my dog's checkup, and I was very disappointed with the level of care provided. Right from the start, I was not allowed to go back with my dog, which was unsettling for both me and my pet. However, what was even more concerning was that the clinic was pushing for four more vaccines, even though my dog had received the same vaccines just a year ago during the previous visit. I felt like they were trying to hustle more money out of me. I even offered to wear a mask, but they still refused to let me go back with my dog. The whole experience was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I felt like the clinic was not transparent about their intentions, and I doubt they were even going to give the shots. The last thing you want is to be talked down to at any establishment, especially a place you are entrusting to care for your pet. I would strongly urge others to look elsewhere for their pet's care. The level of care and professionalism at Artemis Animal Clinic is ridiculous, and I will not be returning!

The receptionist kept telling me she was new and kept putting me on hold after she’d ask me simple questions. I was empathetic and said, I understand if your are new .. I asked how long she’d been there and she said for several months. Not as new as she was sounding to be honest. Especially just to set an appointment. She added important questions about my dog and reassured me that they do handle dog heart issues and work closely with a cardiologist. A few days later the same receptionist called saying she had to cancel appointments as after receiving my digs records they decided not to . I thought they worked alongside a cardiologist? My dogs heart issues are super simple according to his current vet . This was handled extremely unprofessional and with no care at all. No stars.

I went to this vet for about a year. I never met the actual vet - she said the pandemic was the reason for sending assistants to speak to me. Finally, my dog's ear was in a lot of pain and, before they even looked at him, said they would have to anesthetize him to take out a foxtail which they thought might be in there. They showed me the foxtail but the next day, his ear was just as bad. I applied ear medicine from another vet and the problem cleared up. I suspect they keep a little store of foxtails. They don't actually care about my dog, just my wallet. I recommend going elsewhere.

Awful. Unbelievably unprofessional and unethical. After our dog’s cancer diagnosis (2nd in 2 years) we decided not to put our little guy through another surgery and chemo but to allow him to live as comfortably as possible for the remainder of his life. We sought out a holistic vet. First they wouldn’t give us an appointment because the vet was going on vacation in a few weeks, for several weeks. We finally got an appointment 2 months later, we weren’t even sure if our dog would live that long. The day before our appointment they called and said they were overbooked and the only time I could reschedule was the following week. I explained I had been waiting for this appointment for quite a while and time is of the essence, and that I had arranged my work schedule around the appointment. The receptionist did not care and said they were overbooked, did nothing even apologize. A week later they left a VOICEMAIL to CANCEL the appointment saying the vet was not taking new clients, so we basically waited a several mos with a cancer diagnosis with zero help. Then they had the audacity to suggest we try a different vet — the SAME vet where my dog had been for 10 years — the same vet that had sent all of his records over for them to review before the appointment we never had! The worst part is I could hear the doctor in the background coaching the receptionist to tell me everything… So it wasn’t a simple misunderstanding. The receptionist was repeating word for word what the doctor was saying.I can’t even believe these people are in business. Please do not take your beloved pets here.

I really can't say enough good things about this place! I left whites animal hospital because of lack of management, and I randomly found Artemis animal clinic through Google. The best vet. She thoroughly explains everything, and also cares enough to go over finances. Go here if you're looking for a vet for your baby

Dr Peggy is wonderful, gentle , caring and thorough. She is not quick to medicate unless necessary. Its an individual vet, not a group, so you always know who you are going to see, and she knows your animal. Prices are reasonable and she is open on Saturdays!

I had been going to a different vet in town for a few years, but when my dog had a serious anxiety problem going on and it appeared some medical issue, the vet would not see me. I explained what was going on and they would not make even the slightest time to see my dog. I got a same day appointment with this vet and she was very caring and thorough. She listened well and observed my dog and noticed a heart condition. After seeing a specialist they remarked that my new vet was very good for noticing the heart problem even with just a stethoscope. This is a small office with one vet and one receptionist and I prefer that.

Absolutely terrible! Both my dogs have been going to this clinic for almost a year. I called because my dog was having weird neurological head movements and body shakes and I explained the situation and symptoms to the receptionist she nonchalantly ignored everything I said and started talking about when I should make a appointment not caring at ALL. I asked if there was anyway she could quickly ask the Vet to answer whether I should take my dog to a emergency room and she said “no we can’t” . I described the symptoms very clearly, It’s just 1 vet and 1 receptionist in the building it’s unbelievable that the receptionist can’t ask the vet a 2 sentence question about the symptoms and answer what I should do. Instead these people only care about money and push appointments “natural fake remedies” down your throat. Stay away!
