I have been a customer of Art from Scrap for over a year now and every time I go I have been impressed with their selection of items and organization. Need something obscure for a craft or house project? Art from Scrap has it. Need a cool vintage gift? They've got it! They really are a unique store that is bound to spark an idea for something in your life. I write my review now because of my great experience I had this week. The staff and manager are so kind and they remember me! And I don't know how they keep all the "scrap" so organized, but somehow it looks great every time. There's nothing scrap to me about this place. It's all gemstones!

Prices are kind of out of whack. I got some used glue and tape once thinking pricing would reflect it was a used product but when I checked out wasn't much cheaper than if I had bought it new. Recently saw some clay and glazes and prices were about same if were bought at Art Essentials. Maybe that's why product isn't moving and is getting boring. If your inventory is free maybe prices could be a little more reasonable as your profit on what you sell is 100%. I've poked around Art From Scrap for years and in the past I feel pricing was more reasonable.

We were walking by and this place caught our eye. I don't think I've ever seen a place like this! All based on donations, it's random stuff. But, random stuff that can be turned into art! My creative mind started flowing and ideas were formin' . Most items are reasonably priced. Lots to see, but the store is well organized. Super cool store, check them out!

Oh Art From Scrap, how I adore thee, let me count the ways:Personally an artist, or any adventurous person on a mission of creative discovery, there's no better place to be than Art From Scrap. I can literally spend hours there fulfilling my hunter-gatherer instinct.Inventory is constantly changing, hourly, daily, too many treasures to even describe, and priced to move.One can grab bulk buckets for items and fill for a fixed price, or peruse the individual offerings available. From ceramic tiles, jewelry, crystals, vintage typewriters, magazines, feathers, textiles, photos, postcards, antiques, artist paints, canvases, frames, bits and bobs-you name it!! Employees are beyond helpful and kind. They also have a gallery space upstairs and hold art classes.When I die I want to come back to haunt Art From Scrap-in a good way!

Great for knitting tools and that random someone you didn't know you needed. A little pricey if they kit something up, like embroidery.

Great place to go to get scrapes and create! My sis bought some tiles for her homemade tile pictures! Very creative! Next time I go, I need to know what to create!
