Anacapa Auto Body & Paint is the best! I needed a repair and my insurance company kept sending after markets parts, often damaged, instead of my car makers actual parts. Kayla would deal with them on the phone and then again their would send after market parts. Kayla didn't give up; finally after back and forth many times and repeated phone calls the insurance company sent the actual new parts. Kayla and her father John run a great, high quality repair shop. I am so glad I found them.

Excellent family owned and operated business. I had a bumper repaired and painted, and they did a terrific job - my 2015 Tahoe looks new again! They gave me a very reasonable estimate, and honored that estimate even two months later. On my way home from picking up the Tahoe, I noticed my parking assist sensors weren't working properly, so I brought the vehicle back the next day, and John was on it immediately. He offered to buy me a cup of coffee from a shop next door, and before I even got my order, they had fixed the problem. My only suggestion for Anacapa is to begin accepting credit cards (they accept cash and checks for payment), even if they have to upcharge to cover the interchange fee. In summary, I highly recommend Anacapa Auto Body. Great service, quality and value.

Wow, John goes above and beyond.This was the best car repair experience i’ve ever had. John truly cares about the work he does and the customer. He stands by his hard work and you can tell it’s his passion to make sure a job is complete to his high standard. God forbid i get in another accident, If so i’m bringing my car straight John.Thanks to him and Mikala this was a great experience.

John has a passion for what he does. This was an incredible experience. He handed over my keys to a car that was in better condition then it was the day i drove it off the lot. He went above and beyond here. He truly cares about the customer and their satisfaction. He knows a car is important to its owner and he has high standards for what a repair should be. Him and Mikala made it a very easy for me. Thank you again you two are amazing.

Been here 3 times now for some significant body work. I'm super impressed by their customer service and quality of work. I'll keep coming back! John and his team at Anacapa auto body go above and beyond, they are the best. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I can't thank this shop enough for their quick response and help. After hitting a curb with an open sliding door on our mini van, we had a door stuck halfway open and over 100 miles to drive to get home. They worked quickly and got the door back on track and closed so we could drive home safely.

Anacapa Auto Body & Paint has been my go-to since I heard about them four years ago. The first time I came was for damage to my car from something flying off someone's car and crashing into my car on the freeway. The last time I went to them was for the factory hood protector that was starting to peel off and make a mess of my car. And once again, John reassured me that he could fix it without a problem. And it's true - every time I've gone here, it's been effortless and, most importantly, quality work. John is a master at his craft; everything done here is done with the utmost professionalism and care. I trust them to do the best job.

Took my Nissan Sentra to this Auto Body Shop. The owner (John) helped me right away and towed my car over to his Auto Body Shop for repairs. He took care of some of the work and he painted the hood for me which was extra work and I'm grateful for, however, some of the repairs on my Nissan Sentra were not done correctly and repairs on other parts still needed to be done. After getting my car back which was done according to the owner, there were slight issues with the driver side mirror and a wooing noise coming from the front wheels. I called the owner about it, explained the situation and asked me to bring it back. The car sat at his shop for a week and he called me back to pick it up. I noticed nothing had been done to repair the issues I explained to the owner while the car had been collecting dust. I decided to pick it up and just take it to a different mechanic to make sure the work was done appropriately. Turns out the driver side mirror was broken from the inside and wasn't installed properly. Also, John told me the alignment on the car suspension was done and the mechanic at a different shop told me the alignment had to be done. I appreciate the work the owner did do to my car, but I was under the false impression he cared for me as a customer, and towards the end I felt he wanted to brush me off so that I'd leave even though the car wasn't properly completely restored.

John is an amazingly kind and wonderful person! He was able to fix my driver’s side bender without replacing any parts, all the while looking out for a fellow college student with a super fair estimate. It took about a week to fix because they are BOOKED. Can’t recommend this shop enough!

I damaged my car pulling into the hotel at 5PM on Saturday night. I couldn't close my sliding door. John said "Come on over", and he poked and prodded the door mechanism until shazaam he closed it. For good measure he reset all the computer alarms. John has enough good karma to shine all over Santa Barbara.

This is the only place I called that a real person answered the phone. She was super friendly. My daughter's car was hit in a parking lot while she was working and the person who hit her didn't leave a note. When she took her car here they were super helpful and fixed the minor dent and paint scratch on the spot. I highly recommend this place and wouldn't go anywhere else.

John gets my good Karma award for the day, heck even longer. Drove in today and asked for estimate on a gash (I thought) on my rear driver's side door on my 2018 Macan that I got parking at the beach. Hoping it would be a small enough job that I would not have to mess with insurance. A young lady appeared and asked what I needed and went to get her estimate book. John had walked out from a stall and surveyed the situation. I said high and he asked what was up. His vibe was good. He gave the "gash" a once over and said to hang on as he headed into the garage. Returning with a spray can and clean cloth, he went to work lightly spraying and working the area and sure enough he began to work the deposited substance off of the car. While he was doing this, the young lady reappeared and seeing what was happening, said "he'll take care of you" and headed back into the shop. John continued and, as he did, said you gotta be a bit careful here as if you take if off too fast, it can damage the paint. He was done in a few minutes. He went to put his stuff away and returned. "How much" I asked and he said "nothing." Wow. He said he hoped it made my day. And it did. I forced a few bucks on him. Good karma for you John!!!

Thank you to the woman at the front desk who helped me out today! She had amazing customer service and was so kind and professional, didn’t catch her name but she had a bedazzled mask. :) I’ll definitely come back here if I need auto body work.

I started writing this review 2 years ago and never got around to finishing it - Yelp reminded me and here I am because I still remember their service and I really appreciated it. My driver-side window was broken and I was told I would be charged $400 to get it fixed at another shop - Anacapa fixed it for $150. They were friendly, fast, and efficient. I was a college student back then and was going through a very tough time financially (as most college students do) and this place was a lifesaver!
