Such a wonderful mechanic!!! Honest and trustworthy!!!! Rates are affordable and very on time with when your car will be ready, it's so wonderful to have this kind of mechanic in our community. We experienced some unexpected car troubles on a road trip, and everyone at A-1 was extremely helpful. They were transparent, honest, kind, and quick in their assessment. They took the time to show us what was wrong and looked at multiple stores to try to find the part needed even though it was late in the day. If we lived in the area, we would absolutely go back to them for all of our car maintenance. Highly recommend!

This man is fair and honest … I called him from Texas to let him know my son was new to his area and needed his car repaired . He took it to him and he fixed it for half of what another shop quoted him( was a bad alternator) if you in the area and need anything the man’s name is Hoss and he will treat you right.

I was recommended this place by a friend, and they did not disappoint. They were affordable, friendly, and very professional. I'm so used to getting screwed over by mechanics but I know I can trust a1 with all of my car troubles. I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends, and going back for all my repairs and tune ups. Cant thank these guys enough.

I would love to keep this shop to myself, but I'd be doing you all a disservice. Hoss is an amazing man with a great heart, focused on helping people so they don't get ripped off by the bigger repair shops. A Santa Barbara gem for getting your car fixed.

My car has been leaking oil for a long while and I neglected to keep up with the maintenance of my car. And being a bit younger I don't know much about why it was leaking and thought I just needed an oil change. Luckily I was able to find A-1 auto repair to help fix my car same day I called. The team was very nice and responsive and talked me through the steps they were taking to ensure my car was getting properly fixed and tackled the exact problem. My car has been leaking oil to other parts and they cleaned the surrounding areas and were able to identify what made my engine light and oil change light turn on. If I didn't head to them I probably would've ran into many more issues with my car resulting in replacement of motor which is a lot pricier than the initial service. Very appreciate of the great service provided and would definitely recommend them to others! My car is an older car as well and they had everything needed to help with my car.

Don't bother going anywhere else, this shop is the BEST in town. If I could rate them 10 stars I would. They are honest, trust worthy and reliable. It's a family owned and operated which I like. They service my Audi and both of my Prius's am I couldn't be happier with their work.

I have had a hell of a week simply trying to replace my car battery. After being screwed by Autozone down the street I came here in tears. Thankfully they were able to help me change it quickly and get me back to work as fast as they could. I would highly recommend A-1 Auto Repair!
