Tony did a great job! He was super helpful and friendly. He set our pod up very carefully to prevent any damage to the driveway and help keep everything level. 10/10 experience, thank you Tony!

I wanted to give a four star just because she wasn't big enough to bring all of our stuff and we use the largest show they had we could've went with another company but we move forward with this company they were very reliable very responsive communicated all the time always had a text my one recommendation is to use boxes instead of tubs I thought I was doing good by saving time and money using tubs cause I could reuse them for storage but I didn't utilize the space didn't maximize the space like square boxes would have. I really like the fact that I had the key to the facility and I stuck a AirTag in a box and was able to keep track of where it was. We moved from Orange County to Idaho. The movers were great they wrapped up dressers tables etc. so that things wouldn't get dinged up. They said we had to provide the wrap in the tape but they came with full supplies and didn't need to use much of my own that I had purchased. They assembled our beds kitchen table and other things that needed put back together. The crew was very nice. Handed our belongings with Care I would definitely use them again.

Stay far away from this company!!! Go with PODS 10000%They will give you a quote and the once they have your items they will charge you extra for “gas” we were quoted at 3000 and ended up paying almost 4K .They will not give you your stuff until you pay everything .They also have very very unprofessional staff and directors. We were charged 150 dollar fee because their drivers couldn’t figure out how to move the pod out of our street. And they marked it as “ I refused service” you will spend hours trying to talk to someone and nobody cares.The most important part is their containers are poorly maintained , all of our belongings got wet due to the container being broke on the top. Letting in a insane amount of water during rain, they don’t care! I let them know my stuff was getting wet and heavy rain was coming and to please have someone pick it up before more damage and that’s when their driver came at 8pm when we agreed 4pm and couldn’t get the pod out so I was charged 150 dollars plus thousands of dollars lost inside the container worth of our stuff .They also will not give you a copy of your contract , after you sign there’s no copy for you and if you ask , nobody replies .Do not go with Zippy Shell I will be reporting them to the BBB, FMCSA and ATA.

They delay my shipment 30 days and customer service passes you around so nothing can get fix. They do not call back or fix overcharged. Josh the senior manager in CA will not call you back, and his staff says they can't do anything without him.

Josh a senior manager avoids calls and does not call back and his staff says they can not do anything with out him. The shipment is more then 30 days delayed. With no plan or way to solve this. In addition, I was overcharged and it has still not been fixed in the last 28 day and they keep saying they need another 24hr to investigate and get back to me.... And then nothing happens.

DO NOT USE! I am not a difficult person but this has been the worst experience I have ever had. Dropped the container off a day late. No big deal. However, it is not 8/24 and they still have not picked up the container from the initial residence when the date was suppose to be 8/5. New renters are now in the house where the container sits in the driveway and I don't have my things. Received an email on 8/21 saying that the container was delivered to the destination warehouse and yet I have pictures from the rental agency that shows that the container is STILL at the initial residence. No one is helping. I have called over 20 times at this point. Only hearing, "so sorry, we will make this a priority" and they don't. I was also charged the entire amount on my credit card since it says it has been delivered. I have called the cops and I am looking for legal representation. Again, I am not a complainer, I am a very chilled out and easy customer. I have never experienced anything like this before.

Use Zippy Shell at your own risk. Do't say that I did not warn you. Once they receive your money, they don't care about you. They don't communicate, and they decide when to come and when not to come. I want to repeat this, USE ZIPPY SHELL AT YOUR OWN RISK....and its ZERO star for me.

Absolutely awful. My fiancé used them to move from Oregon to Tennessee and they missed every deadline they set. They told her it would be delivered on a certain date and almost three weeks later they are finally delivering it. Not only that, but she had to call on the delivery date to ask when they were showing up and that’s when they told her it was delayed. They didn’t have the professional courtesy to tell her ahead of time that they would miss their deadline. They told her it would be delivered the next couple days, which j was skeptical of because that meant it would be delivered over the weekend. The weekend came and went and then on Monday, she had to call again because once again they lacked the professional courtesy to reach out. This time they told her it wasn’t even in her city and was at their national storage location because there wasn’t any room at their storage lot in her city.I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Use anyone else before them. Literally anyone.

My experience with Zippy Shell has been horrendous. Their customer service in my opinion is the worst when and if you can reach them. Erin Smith the sales person was in my opinion deceptive at best when explaining their contract. Wouldn’t recommend them to my enemy.

Roxanne is a rock star!!! I was in a jamb and decided to find out what this pod service is and if it could help me. Without any hesitation Roxanne listen to my situation and confidently stated she could easily fix and accommodate my need. Just wow! A huge burden lifted an 1/3 the cost of what I was quoted by professional movers! Absolutely incredible! Easy, accommodating, friendly and helpful. Thank you Roxanne!!

Zippy shell corporate customer service is generally terrible. They argue with you about delivery dates and times you can access your shell. We were charged for a month of service we did not even store with them and they have refused several times to reverse the charge with did not authorize. The move itself was good (nothing broken) and they guys are nice but the corporate customer service experience is appalling. Just note if you do need to access your shell it is not in a climate controlled area - they put it outside. We were not told this when we decided to store with them.

Don't trust this company. It's Such a hassle just to get into my POD. I will never return back, definitely made the mistake of trusting them with my belongings. It's so hard to even get a hold of someone, let alone to get a return call back. KEEP SEARCHING , avoid this place at ALL COST.

Zippy Shell packed our large house into 3 of their shells, stored the three shells for 5 months, transported them from SoCal to AZ & unpacked everything into our new home. While loading that first day, they damaged our hardwood floors in formal living/dining rooms & damaged a bullnosed wall in our kitchen. Our house was already sold with escrow closing the following day. We immediately hired people to repair the damage & filed a claim for the amount we paid for the repairs. Even with weekly phone calls/emails to Zippy Shell, it took 7 mos for them to process our claim which came with the threat that we were not allowed to 'badmouth' them on social media. Meanwhile, our belongings were transported to AZ & Zippy Shell employees unloaded our belongings. 90% of our furnishings were damaged in one way or another! Our brand new washing machine was dented. The first time we used it, water poured out from the front edge. The Samsung warranty repairman came out & the new washer was deemed unrepairable due to damage. We had to buy a(nother!) new washer. Again, we called our Rep to file a claim. We were told we needed to forward Before & After photos as well as published replacement costs. We sent photos of the damage with current replacement cost & filed a claim for $10,000. After a couple of weeks, we received an email explaining we did not have a claim as their $50K insurance policy (which was a repeated selling point from them during our initial phone conversations) was not valid for our claim. Their insurance is 'for catastrophic loss only' & 'does not cover loading, storage, damage during transit or unloading'. We cannot give this company a good recommendation or endorsement.

Don't bother with this company. It's such a hassle to get into YOUR stuff. I think the manager at the storage facility I'm storing at was charging people $20 access to their shells. I notified corporate and they said there shouldn't be a fee for accessing my belongings. A couple months later I call the number online linked to the zippy shell I store at and the guy answers and says he is no longer associated with that business. No apology from zippy shell at all. This month alone this is the 3rd day in a row I am attempting to set up a time to get into my shell, nothing. Twice I've been put on hold for longer than 30 minutes then the call gets hung up. Left a message for Mallory Lyons twice now and nothing. Left my spot in queue to be called back...no call back. And that is just me trying to get into my shell this month alone. This happens just about every time I try to get into MY stuff that I'm paying to have held hostage. The other time some woman answered and she had an attitude from the start. Not the first time talking to her, and each time she sounds like she's upset that people are calling to get their stuff. You can't talk to anyone else l...according to her...she's the only one who works the call center apparently, which is a lie. I've spoken to many reps before. If zippy shell doesn't like me calling to get into my things, which is once every 3 months or so, then what is the purpose of me paying to have my things stored there? The answer...move on. I'm moving my stuff OUT of there. Fed up. MALLORY LYONS CALL ME! I need my stuff an refuse to be charged another month.
