I have bought several cars from this dealership. Every single time it was a great experience. I want to really point out this last one for a 2023 XC60 Polestar which was replacing a 2021 of the same type. From Ali and Zack on the sales front to probably the best finance guy in the business Wally the buying of this car was wonderful. However, you can always judge a dealership and its people when things don't always go right. I discovered some damage that was easty to miss....the dealership exploded into action and sorted it out so fast your head could spin. That was because of Kim the manager of Pre-Owned cars going above and beyond the call of duty. Love this team of people. They are fair, honest and frankly just good people. Well done.

Big "Thank You" to Javier "JD" and Co. for providing great customer service and support with the purchase of our '23 XC90. We were actually picking up our car from a nearby dealership when my wife randomly decided to visit the Volvo dealership (Volvo is her favorite car!). Gloomy, rainy day and wasn't even thinking of getting a deal. JD, who we previously met before at the Volvo dealership, happened to be there to help my wife and didn't waste anytime helping out. From testing driving a couple of XC90s to assisting us with completing the application, JD was very efficient.

You would think that purchasing a Volvo would come with good service. If you purchase a car from here and need to service your vehicle, the message from the service team is, "we're overbooked for 2 months. We'll service it if it's towed here."I thought Volvos were known for safety? This dealership doesn't have their customer's safety in mind. My engine light just went on (!) and this team says, we'll see you if you're towed here. Wrong team and wrong messaging for this brand. Total disappointment.

An ANKER USB charging cable was stolen (or accidentally removed) from the car during the service. I contacted a manager at the dealership. However, the manager never got back to me.While I did remove several items from my car, it did not occur to me that I should remove EVERYTHING from the car. If you are reading this and are planning to take your car in for service, I highly recommend removing anything from the car that you value. As for the service, it was performed under Volvo warranty and the replacement worked well.

this is the worst place to buy or sell cars, they changed their offer the day we suppose to close the deal , when i asked to see the manager he was so rude and ask tell me i don't have to sell y old Volvo to them,(no one want to buy old Volvo) . and iask me to sell somewhere else, then i told him thanks for the good service then he snapped and start screaming at me, i was so surprised with his attitude.don't buy Volvo it will be your worst decision

I was driving a Honda Civic hatchback and wanted something with more space since we have a kid. Safety is also very important to us and so we decided to look at Volvo. Javier Duran helped us find a 2023 XC-90 that was previously a courtesy car so it was a great deal. The process was quick and they worked with us on getting it for a payment we were comfortable with. We absolutely love the car, it drives so incredibly smooth and we feel so much safer. My husband has always wanted a station wagon and we wanted both of our cars to be very safe for the baby so just five days later my husband emailed Javier about selling his RAV-4 and getting into a V60. Javier was prompt, worked with us again on the payment, and told us about the Costco member discount. Throughout the whole process both times, every person working there was so friendly and patient with us and our toddler. They let us put his car seat in the cars so we could all drive together. They brought him water and snacks. The general manager, Frank, brought him a bag of goldfish and told us how cute he is. Wally was so friendly with us during the paperwork and finalization process. We would not hesitate to purchase from them again and we are a Volvo family for life now!

I do not make it a habit of posting reviews, especially negative ones. I am certain that I am not the first and only person to have had a negative experience, however, the lack of communication and lack of urgency in offering any information about my vehicle is upsetting. I went two business days without my car and nothing was arranged for me to have transportation leaving me having missed two days of work.

Volvo Cars OC and Eva was fantastic. She was able to get me in without an appointment and have my car done just a few hours later. Thank you Eva!

You cannot make up the horrendous service of this Volvo dealership. I mean every time I call in they are not just horrible to talk to but they can never make an appointment within a reasonable time frame. I called last Saturday to make an appointment for my Volvo xc90 and the lady said they had a bunch of spots available and Wednesday was the earliest that week. Unfortunately on Tuesday I caught a bad cold and didn't want to go in the next day so I cancelled the appointment. My car out of nowhere last week showed ON CALL SERVICE on the dashboard at 17k miles so I know it's not the second service yet. So I cancelled the appointment and today I call back and the service person says they don't have any availability until October 15th. Literally a month and a half away. I said I don't need a rental and she said still that's the soonest. They pulled this stunt last time I came too and it's getting worst and worst. Stay away from Volvo Santa Ana because you think you're buying luxury and they give you Mazda service. (949)680-8612. I know the manager reads these so give me a call. Absolutely a jokeNo problem buddy, i appreciate the help in me having to go to Torrance now. My next week is dedicated to ruin this Volvo dealers credibility all over the internet and community. Better business bureau, you name it.

Very poor service. I had to keep calling to get a hold of anyone. And no update on my car. I had to keep calling and getting routed to multiple people. In the end after three days, I was able to get my car back with plenty of persistence. Its kinda sad... I won't take my car there anymore. Better to go to a non-volvo car mechanic at ths point.

When the car I came for didn't have the trim I'd wanted, Zak helped me find another option on the lot that I initially thought was way out of my budget (but a much better value and everything I'd wanted). The team worked with Wally to present something I could afford - I was genuinely surprised with the offer! The whole process was very chill, not pushy, and always respectful. Zak was super helpful and friendly, Wally was lovely and seemed authentic in his joy to help me find a car I loved, and Adrian did an excellent job showing me around all the features and operations. Everyone stayed past closing and not once made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing anyone. As for the car? I absolutely love it. I keep thinking of reasons I need to go for a drive! It's comfortable, intuitive, great speakers, excellent pick up/speed/quiet cabin - AND I haven't used a drop of gas yet!

I received an email regarding a summer promotion on the 2023 C40 Recharge so I texted the internet sales department for more info. Believe me when I say: the whole process was PAINLESS. I never felt pressured, embarrassed or intimidated. I don't have the best credit, didn't have a lot to put down and don't know much about lease options. But Isse took care of ALL that.Isse was informative and precise. He answered every question I had via text (which is a lot less intimidating than over the phone or in-person), which was my primary choice of communication due to a heavy work schedule. He was accommodating and fair regarding my financial situation and did everything he could for me to get the best deal: Memorial Day savings event PLUS Costco membership discount! When it came time for the credit app, he was very reassuring of the security that my information was going through and even walked me through what insurance and documents I needed when I was to visit. Even now as I look back at our text convo, I'm so grateful I got Isse as a consultant. It was like talking to a friend who was out for my best interest, not his.A few days later, I got to the dealership for the test drive and the exact vehicle he sent me info and pictures of was washed and in the driveway waiting for me with a reserved sign with my name on it! It might sound stupid, but that made the experience feel SO polished. During the middle of the drive, I started getting used to the all-EV nuances and already knew I wanted it that day. I told Isse we need to go back ASAP to sign papers because I was READY!We got back to finalize the deal and everyone from finance to customer care and the gentleman who trains you on the technology was so amazing. I don't know how else to say it, but Isse and everyone I encountered at Volvo Cars OC are absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for giving me a chance at a beautiful car, one that I never take for granted and owe a huge amount of gratitude to Isse for.

Deceitful Practices and Poor Quality - Avoid Volvo Cars Orange CountyIt is with deep disappointment that I write this review about my recent experience with Volvo Cars Orange County. I'm an owner of a Volvo XC90, previously used as a dealership car. At the time of purchase, the dealership failed to disclose that my warranty would be prematurely shortened.Despite being well within the mileage limit (10,000 miles below the 50,000-mile cut-off), my warranty expired two months earlier than it should have. It's disheartening to think a dealership that prides itself on customer service and transparency would essentially rob a customer of six months of warranty time.I find this behavior by Volvo Cars Orange County to be dishonest and deceptive. I urge potential buyers to consider this review carefully before making a purchase. If they can do it to me, they can do it to anyone. Moreover, I have experienced a multitude of mechanical issues with my XC90. For a brand that is supposedly renowned for its quality and reliability, it is shocking how problematic this vehicle has been. The technology within the car is also super buggy, causing more frustration than convenience. The integrity of a brand isn't solely measured by the quality of the products they produce but also by how they treat their customers post-purchase. Volvo Cars Orange County and Volvo in general have failed terribly in both respects.I regret purchasing my vehicle from Volvo Cars Orange County and strongly urge potential buyers to look elsewhere. Seek a dealership and a brand that values you as a customer and is transparent about their policies. Unfortunately, from my experience, you will not find that at Volvo Cars Orange County or with Volvo cars in general.I hope my unfortunate experience serves as a warning to others. Be informed, ask questions, and remember, sometimes an apparently great deal can come with unseen costs.

Javier and team made purchasing my first Volvo a great experience! He listened to my wishlist and delivered. I never felt pressured to make a purchase which ironically made me want to make a purchase. They gave me a fair trade-in value for my old car. To summarize, it was an easy, stress free experience and I love my new car. Highly recommend.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Volvo Service, and I must say that it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I scheduled my appointment on May 23rd, things went downhill rapidly. Here's a detailed account of the woeful experience I had:First and foremost, I made it clear during the appointment that I had a rattling sound issue on my front passenger side, which needed immediate attention. To my dismay, I was informed that they couldn't provide me with a loaner car on the spot, despite my request for one. Apparently, I was supposed to schedule ahead of time. However, the service representative, Jonathan, did help me arrange alternative transportation for my work commute the next day.On May 24th, when I went to pick up my vehicle, not only was the rattling sound still persisting, but the infotainment system was also malfunctioning. An exclamation mark appeared, indicating that an error had occurred and services were required. When I brought this to Jonathan's attention, he casually dismissed it, suggesting that I simply drive for a couple of hours and the problem would magically disappear. It took me two whole days of driving around for the error sign to finally vanish. However, my relief was short-lived as I discovered that the air conditioning on my driver side had completely stopped working over the following weekend. To add insult to injury, when I contacted Volvo Service again, specifically requesting a loaner car due to the unbearable heat, they could only schedule me for June 16th. This meant enduring two weeks without A/C in my vehicle.June 16th finally arrived, and I brought my car in for repairs, emphasizing once again the issues with the A/C and the persistent rattling sound on the passenger side. The service team assured me that an evaluation would be conducted by the following Monday, the 19th. However, I didn't receive any notification on my vehicle application until the 22nd and 23rd, and even then, it was only a brief update. To my dismay, my vehicle remained untouched for the rest of that week and the subsequent weekend.Losing patience with the whole ordeal, I reached out to Jonathan on the 26th to inquire about the status of my car. Shockingly, he admitted that they were unable to identify the source of the rattling sound and demanded additional funds for further inspection. Meanwhile, the A/C problem still remained unresolved. He even had the audacity to claim that he test drove my vehicle on the 25th, noting the severity of the rattling sound, despite my vehicle application showing no such activity on that day (which happened to be a Sunday).Exhausted and frustrated by the abysmal service, I insisted that they promptly fix the A/C issue and return my vehicle the next day, June 27th. Jonathan vaguely mentioned that the technician had ordered a part for the air conditioning system and was working diligently to ensure the car would be ready by the end of the day. However, as I continuously checked my vehicle status, I noticed that the doors had not been opened, and the car had not been turned on. It became evident that they had lied to me once again and were not actively working on my vehicle at all.In conclusion, my experience with Volvo Service was a complete disaster. They proved to be unreliable, untruthful, and utterly incompetent in addressing the issues with my car. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this service center if they value their time, money, and sanity.
