Maybe prejudice, I’ve been banking with unify for years now and they have never approved me for a loan even though I could qualify. I’m always give a reason but they seem petty and irrelevant. Idk, is it just me? I’m thinking not.

I am SO happy with UNIFY F.C.U. and especially this branch where I opened my account. Certainly one of the best decisions I’ve made and I only wish I had made the change sooner. Highly Recommended.

Had an account with them for several years. This location is the worst of them. Huntington Beach was great. I'm so glad I switched to another bank.If there is one thing you should never do... never let the manager touch your account. She will ruin it, and all the zelle and other services will be gone, and it can't be reversed. I couldn't even use the ATM.I was an honest, pretty decent dollar amount, and I couldn't even use the ATM.If you have Unif, get out while you can. Or go to the Huntington Beach location.

I purchase a car and it ended up being financed through Unify Credit Union. In order to pay my car note with my checking account, they wanted my user name and password for my bank! If other companies can simply use your routing number and account number to make a payment, why do they need full access! I eventually traded the car in for another one and instead of mailing me the overpayments, they deposited into the account! I called and requested they closed the account but the representative lied at first and said she could not over the phone and that I had to log in online and message them. I asked what about those without internet and she finally confessed to it just being a preference of Unify. After some additional back and forth, she agreed to mail me a check for everything but $5. The next day, I get a call from another representative stating they would not mail me a check until I call them back to confirm that is what I wanted!!! What was the whole point of the initial call??? Now, several weeks later, I still do not have my $615 overpayment and the account is still open!!!!I would never ever recommend Unify Credit Union and never purchase a car from anywhere that deals with them!

I have been with Unify for a number of years and they have been great. There was a miscommunication on their part and a missed appointment. I was upset. Voiced my displeasure. However the person who missed the appointment came forward and apologized. It was refreshing to have a person say they are wrong and rectify the situation. She helped with securing the financing that was necessary and sent me on my way. Thank you Unify.

I usually don't write reviews anywhere but today visit at this branch with Abe Quijas (personal banker) was totally different customer service experience, He went above and beyond for me, very professional and educated about what was he doing for my auto loan, very patient and super helpful with my credit card situation, i am so happy to be a member for this bank and I would like to say Thank you to Abe for great attitude and the excellent service

Update:New UNIFY branch location.Co-Op atm outside. (ATM not enclosed).-Old location used to be across the street in between the Ice Cream shop and Vons.

The adventure began with a bad experience, which I had never ever had in unify financial credit union. Before you stop reading remember this is a 5 star review. I was misinformed (which has happened to me in BofA, chase, Wells Fargo, my mortgage company) everyone. The way my discontent was dealt with is where they earn the review. Shelly Munoz (without the ñ) lol She took my upset self and tried to help me and since the dealer for the auto loan was not "an approved dealer" I was not able to get the truck I wanted. But she did escalate it and far. The president of financing (autoloans maybe ) Esteban (Montoya) I can be super wrong there. And he gave me 10 star service and held my hand (figuratively) until I got my truck. Come to learn the requirements they put for your car purchase is there to protect you. Didn't settle for a 2013 108k miles with a bumper crash 22k Or a 2014 102k truck for 24k Thanks to Esteban and Shelly I ended up financing a 2016 93k mile truck for 24k. Thanks for helping me see the light Esteban ! If you want great service this is the people!

I have had no problems with Unify Financial Credit Union until I had this branch. Abe Quijas, Member Financial Specialist provides the worst customer service.

This is only for their ATM. Does not work well. Couldn’t take a deposit on 3 tries. Plus it’s hard to find parking cause there’s a lot of stores next to it

Small office but very well staffed, a very competent credit union, even if not one of the largest.I recommend them if there is a location close to you.

Usually I have great experiences with UNIFY, but the last time I talked to someone at this branch about taking out a personal loan, I was left feeling judged about my debt. He wasn't rude but I didn't feel comfortable to talk to him and I feel he was judging me by the way I was dressed or looked.. He ended up not really being able to help me. I went to another bank, Schoolsfirst and they made me feel comfortable and I was able to sign up for a personal loan right away. I didn't feel judge and they made me feel comfortable during the whole process. Once I get my checking account set up with Schoolsfirst, I'm closing all of my accounts with UNIFY. It's been a nice 6 years.
