One of my favorite independent movie theaters in Orange County! They always have good movies playing. I’ve been going to The Frida for years, I just haven’t written a review. The theater is small it only has 2 screens, but they play really cool movies so it doesn’t really matter. It’s not your ordinary movie theater. A great theater to watch old films on the big screen. They also have mini posters each month that has a movie on the front and the back with the month’s schedule. I collect the ones I like. The employees are super cool and have great taste in movies. I’m actually on the way to The Frida right now to watch Y2K. The videos that are posted are from a while ago.

If you're a lover of movies and nostalgic about the bygone Hollywood era. Then, The Frida theater is definitely a must visit. An intimate setting where you are actually greeted by a person prior to the start of the film giving some 411 on this non-profit organization in the OC.

We travel from the Pasadena area at least 2xs a month to watch movies here! Great staff and so many fun events. The popcorn is popped fresh and smells and tastes DELICIOUS!
