This was my first time at The Auto Service and it was exceptional! Everything was perfect - from the time I called in with questions to how I was treated when I dropped off and picked up my car. There is a reason why they've been in business 44+ years and have so many 5 star reviews and it doesn't happen by accident - it comes from great customer service, great work in the shop, and great prices!

I went in for a prearranged oil change and received excellent service. I was in and out in under 25 minutes. I would also like to mention that two year’s ago I brought my truck to TAS for an engine overhaul. They went above and beyond to ensure my truck would run as smoothly as a new one. Two years later, my truck still runs exceptionally well. I highly recommend them for outstanding service.

I had a terrible experience with The auto service in Santa Ana. My car broke down and wouldn't start, so AAA recommended this shop for a free inspection. When I refused to pay the $200 they quoted for the inspection, the representative's tone changed drastically and he became quite aggressive.
Due to circumstances, I was unable to move my car for a few days, and during this time, the representative started insulting me personally. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. There are many reputable mechanics in Orange County, so I highly recommend seeking at least two or three other options before considering this place.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Auto Service in Santa Ana, California, and I can't express enough how impressed I am with their exceptional service and honesty.
For the past three visits to a Mazda dealership for vehicle servicing, I was consistently charged at least $1,000. Frustrated by the high costs, I decided to explore other options and found The Auto Service through Costco's incentive program, which offered a discount. Booking an appointment was straightforward, and I was eager to see how they compared.
Upon inspecting my vehicle, The Auto Service team provided a new quote for all necessary repairs. They took the time to explain in detail what the Mazda dealer had originally found and, to my surprise, informed me that some of the services suggested by the dealership were not immediately necessary and could be postponed. This honesty was refreshing and something I had suspected before but was unsure about. Their thorough explanation gave me confidence in their recommendations and made me realize how much unnecessary work I had previously paid for.
Not only did The Auto Service save me a substantial amount of money, but they also demonstrated a proactive approach by reminding me of upcoming services, ensuring my vehicle remains in excellent condition without any surprise expenses. This level of customer care is truly commendable.
I visited The Auto Service back in March 2024, and I wish I had discovered them sooner. Their professionalism, transparency, and dedication to customer satisfaction have won me over as a loyal customer.
