This review is regarding the senior fellow who works/owns this establishment, he is incredibly rude. The parking area in front of this business is open to the Public between 7am and 5pm for 2 hours at a time. If you attempt to park here, he will come outside and yell at you unreasonably citing "You cannot park here." Or "If you park here, you'll get a $300 dollar fine."One of my elderly clients had the unfortunate pleasure of being a victim to this mans yelling. She was attempting to park for the 2 hour limit to visit the Heritage Museum for an event. She left crying because of this mans absurd actions.I'm sure this business does fine work with the other employees and owners, and their transactions are at the utmost quality. But please beware of how you will be treated as an innocent bystander by the senior fellow at this establishment.

TBM Glass is like a well kept secret in the glass industry. It's family run, small and their products are perfect!

Definitely a class act! TBM Glass quoted and helped me when no one else would! I had a deadline and they met my deadline and went above and beyond with my expectation of the glass that was delivered!

Talk about non-responsive! I've emailed Corey four times and only received one reply back, how do you conduct business like this? The worst part, Corey is apparently the President of TBM Glass, according to his email signature.
I've asked for samples, nothing. I've sent a manufacturing print to see if the tolerances called out is doable, no response. I've sent an RFQ (request for quote), no response. I called, and the person who picked up told me he was on vacation and to email the quote to Raquel. Guess what? No response. It's hard to believe they have been in business for 50 years when they can't even give me a quote.
So if you want to do business with someone who lacks communication skills, this place is perfect for you.

Just to say they are the best. I order Aerospace mirrors, and have never had a problem.

I'm currently involved with a fast paced project at USC - Hoffman Hall which is in pre-construction phase and of course my specialty is architectural glass and serve as a project manager for a high volume glass contractor in greater Los Angeles area. We met today at TBM to discuss logistics and quality of decorative glass which will be designed in Irvine, Ca by Livinglass and manufactured by TBM and installed by our qualified union glaziers. It was intense to meet all the key players starting with the architect, general contractor, livinglass reps and of course, the production team at TBM. After reviewing art work and making revisions to last minute details, we were able to complete our task and come to a mutual understanding. We were given a tour of this state of the art glass manufacturing plant. Co-owner presented himself and it turns out, he's a "glazier" by trade who married into the business by being involved with his father who owned and operated a very old glass company that was mainly involved with the old Los Angeles skyline a very long time ago. If felt like a episode of California's Gold, Huell Howser. He was very methodical and began his mini tour with a brief background. Of course he mentioned my French employer who started the company I work for in 1947 and spoke very highly of him and his work ethics. TBM is very low key from the outside but don't let that misguide you, they actually serve many facets of the industry and produce many glass designs you would typically see on Rodeo Drive. Their impeccable finish work is highly recognized through out the world and ship from Santa Ana globally. Everything is done in house with automated glass cutting and 2% waste from a giant sheet of glass. From the assembly line, they have the equipment to laminate, temper and do various designs with edge work. What I mean, they have the machinery to produce several types of designs to edge of glass after it's cut. Like for example, pencil polish, flat polish, bevel, miter and so. They can also do multi layers of lamination for the extra rigidity. Another specialty is drilling through glass producing small and large holes for various applications. They can make various thicknesses of glass in all types of colors and the most sought after color is "low iron" or "starphire" which is more clear and more like water with a natural blue hint. It's considered clear glass but when compared to a standard clear glass substrate, you can see the difference. Some architects like to incorporate mirrors with low iron glass for a more rich luster when silver is applied (expensive mirrors) but well worth the dollars. They also have contracts with aerospace and military designing some intense glass that can sustain integrity in flight or in heavy combat. I actually got to carry a small window for a armor tank that weighed roughly 40lbs with 9" of glass for viewing your target. If only the old boys back in 3500 BC in Mesopotamia can see how modern glass is made today. I didn't take any pictures only because I was over taken by our tour guide and what really got me by surprise was the amount of warehouse space, it's not big and not too small and everything like machines and different departments are well placed strategically. I've visited other manufacturing plants in the industry and they're just too big, noisy and dirty. TBM is very clean and safety oriented. Pura vida :)

I have done business with TBM twice now. The owner and the employees are great. The factory is very clean and I consider this to be a high end glass manufacturer. I believe that they can handle just about everything in house except curved glass. I know that they can cut, drill and temper glass. This place is state of the art and in my opinion a hidden secret when it comes to the glass manufacturing business.
