Decided to try paying a service rather than do taxes myself this year, got an appointment and taxes were done in under an hour. You still have to gather all of your own paperwork, so of course you need to do the legwork. Luis is personable and knowledgeable and he saved me on my taxes despite the fees to have him prepare (yes I went through afterwords and pseudo did my taxes to compare if it was "worth it", and it was)

I should've read one of the reviews I read below about being scammed and saved myself the strife. I had used a different guy the year before in Newport (who was awesome & is used by a lot of Irvine Company employees but he didn't have time for any individual tax filings this year so he sent me to this guy). So I go the first week you're allowed to file and we get my filing done in about 45 min-1 hour and tells me I should be getting a ~ $3500 refund. I'm thinking awesome! I really got over taxed and thought it was going to be nice to get a nice refund. Fast forward 6 weeks later I get a letter from the IRS stating I'm missing the 1095 healthcare form (I was on govt subsidized healthcare for 3 weeks before I got a new job in June 2020) and they cannot begin my tax return until they get the form. The next day I scan in the form into Steve's office and they tell em they received it and send it to the IRS. Since then, every 3-4 weeks I check the IRS app/website and there has been NO change to my tax filing status and when I call his office, either Henry his assistant tells me he doesn't know anything or no one picks up and there's no one picking up phones at the IRS to try to get an explanation. In the future, I'm probably going back to TurboTax because this is f****** ridiculous and unprofessional in every which way, especially considering he already has gotten paid and I have no idea when or if I'm getting my refund.

We have been going to Steve for our tax preparations for years. He and the staff are always a pleasure to talk to. He is never in a hurry to get you out the office so the lawyer client bond is truly defined. This past year he even helped us form a LLC and answered all our questions regarding tax rebates on electric/ hybrid cars to make us more aware on a decision for what car to buy. I have recommed Steve to many of our friends and will continue to do so.

I had been dealing w/ the IRS for over a decade and I realized I couldn't navigate them anymore on my own. Steve made everything very easy to understand, laid out my options and worked w/ me and helped me have my IRS debt reduced. Now, for the first time in over 10 years I don't worry about garnishment, levies or ominous letters. Thank you guys again, I can't say it enough.

I went to Steve a few years ago and he was able to look my tax returns the previous year when I used someone else and he was able to get me back even more of a refund. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to preparing my taxes. I highly recommend him!

I can't say enough about how great the tax service that Luis (Steve) offers! My mother has been going to Steve for the past 10 years he always takes such amazing care of her since my father had passed and I am do not live in California. It's a family run Tax Law business and so my mom says they treat her like family. I was so impressed that they were concerned for her health and went by her home and picked up all of her tax paper work she needed to give to them to file her taxes! Who does that? Wonderful caring people do! Thank you Steve for going above and beyond!

I've been coming to Steve for tax preparation, advice, and strategy for close to 10 years, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. He's great at what he does, and knows the business inside and out. Hands down, worth every penny. I've recommended him to several of my friends and family. If you need help - go see Steve! Pro-Tip: Steve is incredibly busy, so if you can schedule a meeting in person it's worth it. He does an amazing job either way, but getting even 15 minutes face to face is worth it's weight in gold. Don't be afraid to ask advice on what you can do to maximize returns for the next year!

BUYER BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I don't even know where to start with this nightmare honestly! Well I decided to call Luis "Steve" Vazquez after reading his 5 star FAKE reviews on YELP and was very impressed with all his framed diplomas on the wall, I was dealing with some old past due taxes and a particular issue since I was going to be receiving a workers comp check due to a work accident where I was in bed for almost 3 years and I was in debt and I needed every penny of the settlement check, I didn't had much time so I hired Steve to help me out with my Tax issues since I've had read that it was possible for the IRS to keep the entire check for my overdue taxes, in that first interview he gave me some "creative advice" on how filing for BK was my best options and the best way for him to get paid his fees if I used my CC balance, I totally trusted his advice, from day one I always had a very hard time trying to get him to return calls with questions or the whole BK process, Henry his office manager was the one taking my calls and messages all the time but never got a phone call back, to the point that I never saw Steve again after the first interview till literally 2 minutes before I had to sit down in front of the BK judge, I should of terminated our relationship right at that moment , he also advice me to open up a different bank account and deposit my settlement check in that account so the IRS knows it was my settlement check and not earned wages, sure enough after a couple months I got a call from my credit union bank letting my know that my account had a levy and I had 10 business day to prove that I had a lawyer and I was in the BK discharge process, I called his office numerous times a day leaving message after message and emails as well, he never called me back or replied to my emails so the bank took all my money and I wasn't working at the moment, when he finally answered my call he told me his wife was in charge of replying to the emails and calls so It was her mistake and she was responsible for what happened! this was back in 2017! since 2017 he kept giving me the run around telling me that it was the IRS who wasn't responding to his calls about my case and kept assuring me he was going to be able to recover every single penny they took , if that wasn't enough last year the IRS put another levy on my accounts and took whatever little money I had in there again, at this point I had it with his lack of professionalism never answering or returning calls or emails, I have recorded on video every single time I visited his office where he admits to all his wrong doing and lack of action to my numerous attempts to get a hold of them, I will be posting screenshots and pictures since I can't upload videos to yelp, recently I did a quick google search of his license and sure enough he had his License SUSPENDED NUMEROUS TIMES IN THE PAST!! I will post the link to that public information, I gave him plenty of chances to make it up to me after 3 years of BS but I'm done and now he will have another lawsuit on his hands! people like Steve doesn't deserve for people to trust him when some of us are already in trouble and looking for a professional to help solve the issues, Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! hopefully this will help someone not to get scammed by Steve and his wife! please check his track record of his license here Luis had plenty of times to resolve this in a different way , now we will see each other in court and let a judge decide!

Steve is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. his legal background bolsters the strategic decisions we have to make. having a CPA and Tax attorney in one place is very helpful. He is very busy bc of how good he is. I highly recommend in person meetings bc his phones and email are always going. I prefer working with someone who is that successful. His knowledge and guidance with the law and tax code have been very helpful. He helps us with our corporations and personal taxes. I recommend him to all my entrepreneurial friends.
