some time ago i got a manipedi and asked for a common shade of green, the lady looked at me weird for some seconds and talked to her coworker and giggled. when she was doing my pedi she randomly gave me a massage with a scrub and i checked on their website and they actually charge more for that so i asked and she said they dont. Next, she asked if i wanted a callus removal, i dont have much callus. I said no to the callus removal, 5 minutes later, she started trying to remove the callus and started trying to massage my feet. It hurt. she was putting way too much stuff on my legs. For the manicure, she was doing pretty good until she pointed to the stickers and it seemed like she was asking if i wanted stickers. I then said no to stickers. She put the stickers on. She started massaging my hand aswell and it hurt. I asked for short almond shape. She did not put any tips on me. She painted my natural nails instead. she was putting lots of top coats and preps to the point it was burning my nails when i put it in the nail lamp. the pedi woman was finished and smiled at me which was nice until she left without taking the towel she put between my toes as a separator. i had to take them off myself. the total was 65 just for normal nail polish on my NATURAL NAILS and toes. i could get so much better at an actual nail tech but it was last minute. overall the service was not so well. The women just did whatever they wanted and put in extra services without my consent just for it to cost extra. NOT COMING AGAIN.
Specialties: they dont hand draw designs and dont have charms.
Cleanliness: after they were both done a LITERAL ROACH JUMPED OUT OF THE MESSAGE CHAIR.

I was looking for a place that did builder gel as I wanted to remove my gel-x set and let my natural nails grow a bit. I found South Coast nails that specifically advertised builder gel so I booked an appointment with them for nail removal, builder gel and a pedicure. When I arrived and checked in the front desk told me I was there for hard gel, which is an entirely different service than BIAB/builder gel. When I corrected her, she told me that hard gel and BIAB are the same thing- first red flag, no they are not. I sat down for my services, the salon overall is meh. The technician removing my gel-x did not soak my nails and only used a drill, I repeatedly had to pull my hand back because of the pain while she was filing. She and I went back and forth about the length of my nails, I told her they needed to be cut and then extensions built with the gel, however she told me no and the overlay would make them strong. I had one broken nail which she just glued a tip on- literally the opposite of what BIAB is or what I wanted. The nail service was a hard gel overlay, not BIAB and not what I thought I was paying for but I was stuck because she had taken my gel-x set off. The pedicure was awful, I asked for the deluxe pedicure and did not receive the services listed. The nails I had her do a chrome color. When I went to pay the total was WAY more than what I had expected and when I asked why the front desk told me my price breakdown which I shared was different than what they listed on their website. I showed her the website and she immediately told me that wasn't their website except it was where I went to book the appointment, she finally acknowledge it was their website and honored the price for one service but not all of it. They've since updated their website to at least reflect what they will actually charge but it still says hard/builder gel which are two different services entirely and this place should not be advertising builder gel. On top of all of this the chrome started chipping literally 24 hours after getting my nails done. It's been about a week and they're all chipped so I have to go get them done again, which defeats the purpose of builder gel. The entire point is to be able to have it on for 4-6 weeks while your natural nails grow. This entire experience was frustrating and shady. I can't stand places that aren't transparent about services and pricing but this place straight up lied and got caught in a lie. It's not worth your money or time.

Hi! Just wanted to share as I have been to many nail salons over the years... I can't recommend this salon enough! I found them a couple years ago and won't go anywhere else for my nails!
They have a super friendly and professional staff, wide variety of colors/services and they listen to what you want! I'm a professional organizer, so I am super tough on my hands and they helped me come up with a dip:gel ratio that ensures they last 3 wks+ with no chipping!
Ask for Ann or Tony, they will take great care of you!

Ann is incredible at giving pedicures for my chronically ingrown toenails. Her service is excellent, and she is kind, professional and very skilled!!! I also love the salon - greet place to get many beauty services!!!

By far my favorite nail spa! Anytime friends want to try a different one I'm disappointed after years of visiting South Coast. They listen and care about their customers. There are several long time customers that come in and out of this salon.

I have been coming here for 2 years now and it's clear that they use great product. I've gone to other nails bars, salons, whatever around the area to try to save a buck but always come back here. I don't have just one person I go to because everyone does an amazing job. My gel mani and pedi always last me a month....they just genuinely use better gel and dip powder. I highly suggest giving them a try.

This place is only good for pedis.. it took me 2 whole hours for a French tip.. omg it took so long they were crooked I made her fix them and still they don't know how to do French tips I showed her a picture nothing like it. Don't do a set here.

best nail place I’ve ever been
they put a lot of effort in it and pay attention to detail. They actually remove calluses, not just scrub them. My acrylics look fantastic, too.
