Love this place. Very knowledgeable and a much nicer atmosphere than most welding supply stores. We travel all over and visit other stores when needed but we rather shop here.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I wasn't really sure what products to get walking into the store as it was my first time purchasing this type of equipment. They also give student discounts which is very helpful. Will definitely be returning when the time comes.

I stopped by sims-Orange this morning because I was wanting to buy a new helmet. They have a huge range of Miller, Lincoln and other brands of helmets, all ON DISPLAY, which is great. Connie helped me, and she let me try on different helmets to find the one I liked best. They have a great range of consumables as well as other welding tools. Connie told me they can also fill bottles up to a certain size, while you wait. Finally found a great weld supply store in the area.

Amazing service, I personally am starting a class over at my Community College (OCC) and Connie helped me find everything on the list that I needed. I am very picky about high quality items, and they definitely have exactly that. If you want to buy items that'll last you, definitely come here. If you want cheap items that'll break, maybe don't come here then haha! Anyway, amazing service, went in, connie got me everything I needed, and I was out. Very nice staff, made some jokes too, made me laugh. Would recommend.

No customer service after the sale! I paid more to get it from this local shop. Once I purchased the unit it did not work. Sims gave zero effort in trying to get my unit fixed or replaced. I made an appointment to test the unit with there repair tech. I drove down there and they state he isn't available. I asked if they would reach out to miller for assistance and they never did. I ended up taking my machine to another miller authorized repair facility and with in days were able to Duplicate the problem and reached out to miller who gave them Authorization to replace the welder with a new one. Remind you I didn't buy it from this place yet they were willing to do more than Sims.

Business hours on google said they were open on saturdays, drove 30 minutes to store. I guess I shoulda called or they should update they’re hours.

I purchased a new welder from sims in Santa ana, unfortunately they did not have the best price available. I was tempted to go the cheaper route but decided to get it there. Four weeks later I had a problem where my new welder would only weld for 3 seconds and stop. I called and they had the service guy on the phone in minutes helping to diagnose over the phone. He said bring it in and they jumped on it and got the unit back to me in 2 days. I am so glad that I purchaced from sims, the customer service is top notch. The repair service technician is also I veteran, so glad my money went to a business like this!
