We used Rivera’s Transmission to help fix my mom’s transition and they did an amazing job. I took my car in there, my muffler was making a horrible noise. Rodrigo was able to fix it within a day and it’s better than ever. I would highly recommend them.

Overall an amazing shop!! Came in with my Acura TL with the transmission completely obliterated and left a couple days later with the smooth transitioning rebuilt transmission. Couldn’t be more happier with the results. Thanks again to Jr. & Sr. ??Service: Transmission

can't say enough great things about Jr. and Rodrigo on their honesty and transparency on their workmanship. I had a 2003 Acura TL that a blown transmission and needed to have it repaired or swapped for a transmission. I called Rodrigo and explained to him I wanted to replace the transmission wiht a 2006 Honda Accord BAYA transmission as this is a direct bolt-on replacement. Rodrigo walked me through the concerns and I addressed them (with my own research) and he was more than willing to work on it. I got progress calls with Jr. (Rodrigo's son) on the process and the car was done within 2 days upon receiving the salvage transmission. They worked over the New Year and had me back on the road in 2 business days. I cannot say how much of a pleasure it was working with them considering all the other transmission shops insisted on "rebuildling" the transmission that was faulty from ACURA/Honda OEM for those years anyways. Everyone wanted to convince me to rebuild and charge $3-4k+.Honesty and great work goes a long way and this is the shop you want to trust with your vehicle - major thanks to Rodrigo and his son Jr!Update: salvage yard tranny went out and so had to redo it again. Chose Rivera (April '23). Although the salvage yard sent a very difficult transmission, Jr. Was able to make it work and got my car back up to me in 48 hours.Again - this shop cannot have higher integrity and reputation. I will only send my clients here going forward.Use Jr and his dad! 1000000%

My daughter bought a used car and was told it would need a new transmission and distributor cap. We brought it to Rivera's Transmission and Rodrigo said it didn't need a new transmission, but it definitely needed something because the engine was sputtering and shaking. Rodrigo kept the van an extra day to have J's Automotive Service (in Santa Ana) diagnose the problem. J's installed a new distributor cap and the car was able to start and go over 60mph smoothly. Thanks for your honesty and for going out of your way to help my daughter get her van running!
