I came in Tuesday May 2nd the big rude old guy yeah no good at all he should honestly not be helping out with any customer service just grumpy from the start he seems like he doesn't enjoy his job!! & I still bought a pair of almost $300 pair of boots yeah nice boots but never coming here again

Sunday,March 5th 2:50pmJust walked out if this location. The dude working knew nothing about boots. He didn't care to put any effort into any of my questions. All his answers were "I don't know" "We don't sell that" and just had a snappy attitude. Geeez! Nobody else was in the store so it's not like he was busy. Do better or close the damn store for the freakin day if you don't feel like showing any customer service.

With the unexpected rain coming in recently I wanted to find a comfortable long lasting pair of rain boots, my brother suggested Red Wing, finally decided on a pair of Canyons, more hiking style fit. I have narrow feet and needed arch support, the store had the foot scanner to help find the best shoe insert, which made the boot much more comfortable. Originally got the inserts at theBrea store, and got the Canyon boots at the Santa Ana location. The staff at both locations were very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, making sure I left with a good pair of boots that I was comfortable with. I really appreciate that the staff are available to answer questions on the phone about the boot maintenance, since I have not had leather boots before. If you are looking to invest in a quality boot, check out Red Wing.

I bought a 400 hundred dollars hard steel boots and they recommended the 150 dollars soles then 3 month later the soles have holes in them so I went back to get them fixed or replaced they laughed at me and told me it's because your foot is putting more pressure on that spot, I asked how come you didn't tell me that when you let me stand on that machine, I got no answer, of the door they told me take care... four of them including the manager were standing looking at me with mocking faces.

Update: Late Jan early February I bought my husband some new work boots. Brand was BOA supposedly some good work shoes not so bad with steel toe. Me thinking it's RedWing these gotta last since his Die Hard lasted 2 years before buying a new pair. It's now October & last month they started tearing apart now these boots are really a lost soul. He is still in the same construction field as the past 15YEARS. I paid around $280 or somewhere around that range. Point is NEVER COME BACK HERE TO SPOIL HIM WITH WORK BOOTS & STICK TO DIE HARD OR WOLVERINE. My 1st time buying him these & last time. Good thing he didn't throw away his Wolverines because he had to wear them today. Lesson learned it's not always the dollar mount u spend. Thank you Red Wing for letting my hard working husband experience this. Wolverine boots already on the way!

My workplace typically provides Red Wing work boots for protection and comfort during field work. I've had a pair for almost a year that has served me reliably and comfortably well during my employment and besides the breaking in period, there are no complaints about the products themselves.I am here to comment on the customer service. When i arrived after lunch (~1300), there were 4 employers in-store and two were already helping customers. I walked in and was greeted but a courteous but busy sales associate who was already helping said customer. He told us to wait and I patiently did so. I was approached by another lady from behind the cashier counter who took my boots voucher from work. Then I was approached by another lady who asked if we had been help and I replied I am waiting on the other lady. After browsing while waiting, I was approached by a 4th sales associate who told me about my options. But I had to let them know I brought a work voucher and can only look at options covered under the vouchers. He went back to the other sales ladies, and one of them came back to let me know the athletic shelves I was eyeing isn't an option available under the voucher. Then I asked what are my options, and they gave me two, but doubled back after I clarified that one of my coworkers got a pair under the athletic section. They had to keep going back to check the work voucher to verify which boots met work criteria. The 4th sales associate saw me stepping on the ultimate feet fit measurement device and offered instructions on how to get measured. But did not offer me options that were covered under my voucher and tailored to my measurement. Finally, the 1st sale associate who was busy earlier came out and walked me through my appropriate and available options and thoroughly explained the details of each boot. He was the most helpful and attentive out of everyone in the store. I couldn't find the size of the pair I wanted so I will try another red wing location. Overall my customer service experience was chaotic and confusing as the 4 sales associates bounced around even though there were less than a handful of guests in the store during my visit but they were aloof, distracted and unhelpful. I did not feel like they were useful in helping me choose my boots.

Helpfull place....Hey hey..I just went today and not ok with the service, $260.00 bucks pair of boots ,one of them have something wrong inside and it bother my foot a lot super tired by the end of the day ..so I explain to the personal that is there and some questions that if where working there I will never make for a costumer never ...personal not good at all,,to many words to explain but easy to understand...deverian de trabajar en el swap meet...

This was my first time in a Red Wing shoe store... it was not a positive experience. My gait was analyzed via their computer. I tried on 4 pairs of boots, and each pair was progressively more and more uncomfortable. Perhaps the employees need more training ? The salesperson seemed more concerned about upselling a pair of $100 insoles versus actually helping me find a comfortable boot. The customer service was terrible, the shoe quality was mediocre, and everything was ridiculously overpriced.

These guys had the last of the 2414 boots in the USA & in my size and we’re so nice to ship to me out of state. Great customer service!! Got the boots in today.
