My family has been going to RCA for over 20 years. My boyfriend and I went in October to file our taxes (we previously filed an extension) and Ray Jr was the only one working. This place has gone downhill since the dad is no longer there and his brother Moses is only part time. He said his card machine was down and only taking cash (should have seen the red flag) but with 20+ years of no issues we agreed. He provided us copies and said we would be getting our return in a month or so. The end of December/beginning of January I realized I never received my tax refund. I immediately contacted IRS and was informed our taxes were never filed. We attempted to contact Ray Jr but he answered the mainline and asked to text him and hung up. We texted him immediately and he did not respond. We have continued to call, text and go to the office and they have not answered or replied. Every time we go to the office they are closed. Since our family has gone for yes, we have the brother Moses cell number. We called him and explained the situation and he said they are aware of the situation and trying to resolve it because their system was down and IRS was not receiving their filings. He said to go to the office the following Friday and they would provide a letter and they would get back to us. I also requested a refund. They were not open on the said day and they have not answered or responded to any calls or texts. We finally had to go somewhere else to get our taxes properly filed but will eventually be fined for filing late. We also consulted with multiple tax preparers and all indicated we were lied to and RCA most likely hadn't paid their account or it had expired so they were unable to complete the tax filings.

So grateful for Ray at RCA Tax Services. I usually do my own taxes, but because 2020 was such a mess, I think I missed quite a few things. Ray was able to help me file and get what was owed to me. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism, friendly service and expertise. I will definitely be back.

Ray is THE BEST! He has saved us so much money and is so detailed and thorough! We drive from Costa Mesa, just to use him! He is the best!
