I was recommended this place by a co-worker . Really liked the fact that I got in and out in record time . And they offered to pick my car up from work and bring it back to my job when ever I need service again!!! They had two of the most adorabledogs there Teddy and Bella ❤But I was told the brake job was too expensive $ 400.00 for front only and 3 months later brakes were still not stopping took it to another shop who stated brake job was sloppy and not done right. Smh

We took our Volvo there because they were supposedly European car specialists. There was an issue with the gas gauge and the car shutting off when less than 1/2 a tank. They ended up replacing the fuel pump and fuel gauge for a total of $977.. Next time we drove the car, we had exactly the same problem. After doing a lot more research and calling around we went to another Volvo specialist who had fabulous reviews and came personally recommended. After going there and talking with the owner he quickly gained our confidence. When we described what happened, he already had a hunch what it was. After several days of working on our car he informed us the fuel pump assembly had been installed completely wrong, causing damage to the new fuel pump and making it almost impossible to remove. Everything had to be replaced all over again and we lost another week w/o the car. I called Peter and requested a full refund for the shoddy work, but he gave me a story that his shopped burned down and he was on vacation in the mid-west. He said he'd check it out when he came back. Fast forward one month, I've called several times and he keeps making excuses. I have the damaged fuel pump to show him, but he said he wanted to send it to the manufacturer to request a refund for a damaged fuel pump, when they caused the damage themselves. The car now runs like a charm, but we are still out the $977 and he's not returning my calls or emails.

Peter wanted to charge me $900 +tax for a part my car didn't even need. Do NOT trust this fool! Just out for big $ and thought I didn't know about car repairs.

I don't recommend this place at all. Worst mechanic in OC, Over price and they are lazy people working there they talk over you and don't let you explain what the problem is with your car and they charge way to much for shitty labor and shitty customer service DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.!! Peter also broke couple of parts inside my car while trying to take them off he has no experience And he is lazy and don't care about customers

Excellent service, very reasonable pricing, job completed quickly, very friendly staff and the cleanest auto shop I've ever been in. I also love the fact that Peter took the time to explain everything to me and did not try to "upsale" me! I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else!

No one more honest!!! This guy doesn't not bring up ANYTHING you don't need to do. Peter is the best in the business and is fair and transparent!

The first time I was recommended to Peter's Automotive, I was feeling a bit suspicious because I usually go to the dealership of my vehicle. With the help of Peter, I was able to understand that little needs like this did not require a trip to the dealership that will charge me an arm and a leg. His honesty was what really uplifted my hopes that there will be a good outcome. I drive a 2013 BMW, and there was a coolant warning message popping up. Because I had my own coolant, I went to a local shop(valvoline)to ask them to top it off. As they were ready to top it off, they noticed that (1) it was completely at its max, and (2) the thing that was holding the coolant was missing a piece-- of something. I was recommended to Peter's Automotive then. When I arrived, peter welcomed me as I was waiting in the (very clean) waiting room. With a very reasonable price, I was able to fix the issue! Though I had to leave my vehicle in the shop for two days, I was very happy with the result and the honesty of Peter! Very nice guy.

Not a fan. I was testing different mechanics in the area to see who offered the best prices for a leaking radiator. Took it here to see pricing, was told I needed new engine mounts which would cost me over $1,000 here. Every other mechanic(including the actual dodge dealership) said that this was a lie. My engine mounts were fine. My car is 2018, how would engine mounts fail so quickly. This place is great if you need something simple like an oil change or maybe a filter change. But anything major, some of these guys dont know Jack s**** It's got good reviews but for simple fixes. All the bad reviews were for major problems. Be cautious.

I have used some mechanics in the area, but Peter's has been, by far the best experience. Very reasonable prices and finished much quicker than expected. My new go to mechanic.

Can't really say much but I've been going to Peter's Automotive twice already for a quick oil change and it has been a breeze since. Employee are chill and efficient. I'll keep coming to Peter's Automotive until I find someone better.

I have been coming to Peter for several years. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust and who will also do the work correctly for you. Peter is both, he will show you what's wrong and also give you the best price. Without a doubt Peters's automotive is the only mechanic I will ever let touch my car.
