Called them to make an appt for 2 new tires. This was nearing closing time. Rep checked and said had the ones I was requesting. I showed up at 8:00 am the next day and they were ready for me.I was outa there in about a hour 15 minutes. Great service.

I'm disappointed that this location has gone entirely down hill. I used to take my car to Chloe and always had such a great experience. My entire family brings their cars here and we've all had poor experiences within the last year. I've been a customer for 11 years and won't be returning.I called on Saturday to ask if I could come in on the following day (Sunday) for a tire repair. The girl who answered (Giselle) told me they couldn't take me until Monday. I then logged in to Pep Boys online and there were plenty of Sunday appointments showing available. I scheduled the 9am slot for Sunday and then followed up with a call to ensure they received it. Giselle answered and advised me that they don't start working until 9:30, so I should bring my car in at that time instead of my scheduled time of 9am. I then rescheduled to Monday since the 9:30am was a little too late for me.I arrive on Monday and rather than looking me up in the computer as they usually do, Giselle just asks me for my phone number and writes it down on a paper. She didn't bother looking up my account or even verifying my contact information as Chloe and others always have done. Anyways, shortly after, Giselle and a man she identified as the "mechanic" approach me and ask me if I know why my car won't start. I was puzzled since my car was running fine, I was only there for a flat tire repair. I then very hesitantly asked them if they pushed the clutch in when turning the key? They had no idea you had to push in the clutch for a manual transmission to start. Again, Giselle identified this person as the "mechanic".... to say I was worried is an understatement. When the car was complete, I received a text message addressing me as "Marcella".... my name isn't Marcella and rather than just pulling up my account that had all my information, Giselle created a new account for me and changed my name! Even my receipt and work order have my name wrong.Needless to say, the customer service and attentiveness to the customer needs at this location has done down the toilet lol. Friendliness and customer service go a long way and this location offers neither. If your mechanics don't know how to start up a manual transmission, that should be a red flag. I plan to contact their corporate office about my experience, but it was worth giving a review in hopes it will engage their management on customer experiences so that they can improve.This is for the pep boys location on Warner avenue in Santa Ana, Ca.

Pep Boys is still one of the best values in my opinion, when it comes to typical maintenance on your auto. I was in for an alignment service which was performed at no-cost because I had previously purchased their lifetime alignment service for only $179!!! This was good only for this car, but it works out because this is already the third time the car has been in, so imagine only paying $60 for an alignment?! It's a great deal! :)

I had a horrible experience at my regular Pep Boys in Orange with Humberto. Rude and not helpful! After that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay with Pep Boys. But I’m glad I did! I called the Santa Ana location on Warner and Giselle was so accommodating and friendly. I arrived at 5:30pm and was greeted by the same friendly voice! The office was so clean and inviting! Giselle kept me updated with the status and I left feeling good! Giselle is a huge reason why I stayed with Pep Boys! Thank you for hiring her (This is not Kyle Lopez) DELANIA

Steam or smoke began coming from my hood. I googled for closest place and ended up here. From the moment I drove up until I left the service was outstanding. Even with their scheduled appointments, Pedro got my car up on the rack and was able to see the problem. When I questioned the cost of the part, Giselle kindly explained why the mark-up (and it really wasn’t ridiculous). I normally stay clear of shops like this for car repair and go to mechanic, but I definitely will be rethinking that after my experience here. Thanks guys! You earned the 5 Stars and more.

This Pep Boys is the location to go to! My husband and I have been coming here for years and their customer service has always been hands above any other auto repair shop. Their level of service, timeliness, and accountability is excellent.

I had whatI suspected was a bad valve stem in my boat tire. Walked in guy at the front desk came out to my truck grabbed the tire out of the back and said let look at it right now. He proceeded to confirm it was a bad valve stem. Fixed it on the spot and got me out in 5-10’min. Great service appreciate the speedy help. This is the second time they have helped me get stuff back on the road. Thanks again guys

This Pep Boys on Warner Ave in Santa Ana was able to identify exactly which TPMS sensor was bad and replaced it and cleared the error message without any upsells for only $112. Toyota dealer told me to replace all four at the cost of $950. The lady at the front office was very friendly and courteous. Thank you Pep Boys!!
